Not really. The US said to Ukraine give up your weapons and we will protect you. Then they did not and they have done all they can to make money from selling arms. Europe sent a lot. BUT not Europe is tied as they need to deal with the US to replace many things for themselves. The US does not want Ukraine to win as the longer the war goes on the more money they can get from Ukraine and Europe. If Europe said stuff the US and united against Russia the war will be over in a few months as no one will be trying to fight with one arm tied behind their back by the US.

Any agreement signed by putler isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. He’s broken most , if not all the agreements he’s signed. The Russian population is finally realizing he’s theft. The infrastructure, schools, hospitals and basic infrastructure are being completely forgotten about. How about running water and sewer lines to the 100’s of villages so people can take a SHIT in there own home. It’s 0 degrees outside and you need to take a SHIT, but you have to run to the town outhouse to do so. WHAT ??? But he can build all these elaborate houses , extremely elaborate houses without caring about his own people. What a shame. I even noticed one of his favorite propagandist suggested his removal. Hopefully someone who really cares about the people will step in soon. We all can only hope !

People get it all twisted, thinking foreigners literally aren't allowed to talk about it. Besides obviously not being the law in their own countries, the foreign restrictions (are supposed to) prevent funding and lobbying from foreign parties. So long as the US is a major global power, the future of the country and especially its foreign affairs will be scrutinized, rightly so, by those nations it influences.

tRump does know better. But he is a puppet of Putin. From his 2016 campaign calling on Russia to hack into Clinton's emails. He direct actions to create an off the books communications line through Prince (Former Blackwater company owner) to his getting back channel loans from banks in the Caribbean that are owned by Putin lackeys. tRump knows, and he is a traitor to the USA. Takes minimal amount of effort to tie tRump directly to Putin, but the media needs the drama of the clown to keep them relevant and ratings. Otherwise, US politics are stale, boring, slow.

Cheers for breaking it down like that, mate. It’s mad important to remember that what’s happening in Ukraine isn’t just some far-off problem-it’s about standing up for what’s right. Saying the U.S. 'got into this war' just isn’t true. Russia started this mess, and the U.S. is helping Ukraine defend itself, which is what any decent country would do. The money and support aren’t about some dodgy deal; it’s about helping people who are fighting for their lives and their freedom. Calling Zelensky a ‘salesman’ is just nonsense. He’s out there trying to get the help Ukraine needs to survive, and without it, we’re all at risk. If Trump cuts off support and leaves Ukraine to fend for itself, it’s not just Ukraine that’s in trouble. It sends a message to other dictators that they can just take what they want by force. That’s bad news for everyone. We’ve got to keep backing Ukraine, not just for them but because it’s the right thing to do. If we let Russia get away with this, it’s only going to make things worse for all of us

@@toowiseforyou t’s true that agreements like the Budapest Memorandum should be respected-they’re vital for maintaining international trust and stability. When leaders disregard such commitments, it undermines not just the specific agreement, but the entire framework of international cooperation. Don't forget that a lot of the military aid send by the US is decommissioned stuff (weapon systems and ammunition), which would otherwise cost the US tax payer a lot to deconstruct. By sending it to Ukraine the US can save money in these cases as they just have to pay the shipping costs. And they do hurt a strategic adversary for small bucks.

@@biggles106XII) 45-48 (I-I4) Oleg Tatarov, the deputy head of the presidential administration, who appeared in more than ten corruption stories and was repeatedly detained by law enforcement agencies, will remain in his post. Answering a journalist's question, which was not asked according to the script, at a press conference, President Zelensky, embarrassed, angrily said: "Tatarov killed Chechens in Kiev when journalists were leaving the city. Isn't that enough? Or should I remove him from office? What if the Russians kill him then?" But before that, no one had heard about how Tatarov, who had become rich by millions (or maybe even tens of millions) of dollars, ran around the city with a machine gun at the ready in search of Chechens and why would the Kremlin's hand want to swat Tatarov after he was fired? Therefore, he will continue to engage in land, construction and money frauds with people in power. In addition, he is the owner of the Credence law firm, which successfully defends the defendants in the NABU corruption cases, some court proceedings are related to Tatarov himself and his partners from the past. Thanks to the Zelensky government, which helped with the change of prosecutors! Moreover, Zelensky and his party, who, thanks to Vladimir's acting skills and his unfulfilled promises, have a majority in parliament, have managed to take law enforcement and judicial authorities into their own hands, violating the Constitution of Ukraine. With the help of the approved article 106, Zelensky illegally established control over the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau) and the GBR (State Bureau of Investigation), replacing their directors with people from his party. The Cabinet of Ministers, on his instructions, approved a bill according to which the head of NABU, who is objectionable to the president, can be dismissed. Article 106 allowed the President to give direct instructions to the staff of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine). According to the next draft law No. 1014, Zelensky is additionally granted the right to create some regulatory bodies. Such actions lead to the concentration of power and the leveling of guarantees, human rights and freedoms. Violating the law, Zelensky dismissed the chairman of the Constitutional Court, Alexander Tupitsky. Judges of the Constitutional Court are no longer guaranteed independence and inviolability - Zelensky has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill abolishing the powers of all judges of the Constitutional Court and repealing amendments to the law "On the Prevention of Corruption". Violating the law, he shamelessly imposes personal sanctions against opposition deputies through the RNBO body (the coordinating body for national security and defense under the president, turned into a quasi-judicial body), which he endowed with illegal powers. The law, which made it possible to have dual and triple citizenship in Ukraine, simplifies the acquisition of land and critically important enterprises for the country by foreigners. At the height of the 2021 pandemic, mandatory vaccination was carried out in the country, while the president's anti-people's party, Servant of the People, abolished any responsibility for low-quality vaccine and its use by doctors. Traffic cops accidentally managed to detain a Renault Master truck driver on the road, who was involved in an accident in the center of Nikolaev. Which, most likely, transported 2.5 tons of carcasses of homeless, shot sick dogs in freezers for processing to food factories. Dogs are not eaten here, however, without receiving high salaries, Ukrainians will buy any cheap sausage. Unemployment benefits in Europe are generally higher than the average salary in Ukraine. During the two years of the full-scale war in Ukraine, 874 criminal cases related to humanitarian aid and charitable donations were initiated. Up to 50% of the foreign humanitarian aid entering the country is stolen. Residents of my and neighboring dormitories, where internally displaced persons live, were repeatedly forcibly sent to unload trucks with food, microwave ovens, folding beds, bed linen and mattresses, hygiene products and household chemicals, and so on. In gratitude for the help, people were promised that they would not be evicted in the long term (since, violating the law, no one in Ukraine enters into a residence agreement with internally displaced persons, after which they will lose the right to evict refugees from their rooms or their own houses and apartments, unfortunately, not everyone will be able to pay for accommodation, prices everything is growing in the country). But all that is distributed to refugees in dormitories are small bags of food, the rest the management decided to keep for themselves. By the end of 2024, the number of refugees had increased, and the dormitories were overcrowded, so the commandants are trying to evict the most problematic people in order to populate the vacated rooms with more adequate people. Tenants meanly, sometimes by deception, survive the neighbors on the floor in order to move relatives and friends into the vacated rooms. There are a lot of dishonest people around. For example, our family of three, retired parents and me, their son, have four refilled SIM cards. Even if one of us changes the phone number, fraudsters from call centers calculate our mobile numbers and who they belong to in a short time, after which fraudsters from the office call us to our active numbers several times a week or send messages, responding to which people risk losing all the money from their bank. After the new government stopped fighting with call centers that make calls around the world in 2014, their number is growing annually and already exceeds 2,000. Now every Ukrainian family risks becoming their victim through their own negligence. The West of Ukraine does not sympathize with the inhabitants of the East, but gloats over them, because it understands that most of them adhere to pro-Russian views. They want their lands back for the sake of satisfying their pride. Corporations, to which, after signing the contract, Zelensky promised to give a significant part of the lands of Eastern Ukraine in case of victory, are interested in the complete destruction of cities so that no one prevents them from owning land and turning the east into desolate wastelands suitable only for the extraction of natural resources. If earlier the severe consequences of shale gas extraction stopped its production near Kharkov: reservoirs contaminated with toxic waste, dying cattle, propane gas in the water, which easily ignites water from the kitchen faucet, and severe diseases in humans. Then, after the war, the deserted, purposefully destroyed cities will become very useful for "gas producing" companies. Cities with multi-storey buildings are purposefully turning into fortresses. In 2024, the amount of losses inflicted on Ukraine's infrastructure exceeded $ 200 billion. Millions of people were left homeless - their homes were destroyed. Instead of seeking negotiations, Zelensky is leading the country to escalate the conflict. During the election campaign, Vladimir Zelensky promised that he would resign if he could not put an end to the military conflict, and after becoming president, he changed his rhetoric and said that until this war ended, he would remain in office, he banned the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections in wartime and He does not intend to agree to a counter-discussion of the proposed peace talks in the Kremlin. Only those who are not afraid that the war will affect them want it to continue. Zelensky is not sorry to sacrifice the population of Ukraine for the sake of continuing the military conflict, during filming he said: "If the borders are open to men, then most will leave the country and there will be no one to protect it, moreover, now many relatives of men want to stay in Ukraine, they will become a human shield for the state that exists under massive shelling. If Putin does not kill hundreds of thousands of civilians, we will not be able to call him Hitler, our task is to show who he is!" In order to keep up with the plan and as quickly as possible, violating the laws, to issue documents for sending people to war against their will, since 2024, many military enlistment offices and the military medical commission have been working around the clock. Numerous reinforced checkpoints have been established along the roads leading from the cities where the fighting is taking place, one of the tasks of which is to identify and select men leaving the city who are fit for military service or who have not updated their data in a timely manner in the military registration document. They are taken to military enlistment offices, where they are quickly recognized as fit for service and all necessary documents are processed. Similar cases of "trapping" and sending people to war regularly occur throughout Ukraine. Employees of the military enlistment office earn millions from bribes from people who paid to be allowed to go home. Today, the United States controls most of the processes and is being introduced into new areas of activity in Ukraine, when even in peacetime politicians were accused of violating the independence of the state for any ties with Russia and its influence on the country. Public organizations, sociological centers and political institutions engaged in surveys, public opinion research, analysis of electoral processes and the structure of policy formation in Ukraine, a significant part of which are funded by foreign partners, receive foreign grants and are direct representatives of "donor institutions" from the United States, Germany, England and other countries. They received from our state a 100% "reservation" from mobilization for all their employees. Unfortunately, Ukraine has long lost its independence.

Doesn't the USA have a lot of weapons almost specifically because and for Russia, including the nuclear arsenal? Here in Europe, countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, have more than 50% of the population who support Russia. The Americans have been pushing boundaries in Ukraine since 2013 interference in Maiden, then arming the ultra-nationalist rebels that eventually overpowered Zelensky to go down this path of confrontation instead of agreement. US got Ukraine into this in the first place.

Russia just won WW2 against Germany, because they got western aid. Hundreds of thousands of trucks, over 7.000 tanks, thousands of planes and peaces of artillers. Russian pilots said, the western planes are far superior. They even got millions of boots and uniforms, because they hadn't enough. They got something, like 1.000 trains. Food for millions of soldiers. They got a lot of equipment, and the best equipment they had, from the west. Also there was Africa, where Germany lost a lot of troops, and there was the fact, that Germany just started war production 1943. In 1940, they just produced around 150 tanks a month, in 1944, it was 1.500. Ad then there also was the western front. While Germany had less troops there, they had their best troops and weapons there. In the east, Germans had a collapsing frontline, Russia faced older weapons, and meatwave attacks, while they could outmaneuver Germans with their american trucks and tanks. In the west, Germany was pushed back slowly, they had elite forces over there, and a strategy. In the east, they were just running, leaving equipment behind, while in the west, they blew up bridges, and made it very difficult, to enter the core land of Germany. Without help, Russia would have lost. Germany was not even 40km from Moscow. If Germany wouldn't have attacked Leningrad, but just Moscow and Stalingrad, they would have won. If Germany wouldn't helped Italy, which delayed their attack on the USSr by 8 weeks, they wouldn't get stuck in mud and the winter, and would have won. So Russia was very lucky to survive WW2, and without western aid and the second front, they wouldn't have a chance to defeat Germany.
@Tanynep

And I believe Stalin's utter disregard for the life of its own citizens, as well as the sizable population of the USSR, were also decisive factors in the Soviet victory on the Eastern front - with meatwave attacks just like we see today in Ukraine.

That creeping of Russia in eastern Ukraine looks bad. Probably it should be curtailed. About Hitler in WW2 and Napoleon before, those two got bogged in the mud, snow, cold, long distances and lack of supplies. German industry was bombed and could not compete with Western industrial output. Russia got lend-lease from the USA also. Western actions in the Atlantic, Africa and Europe were also crucial. And elsewhere also. Russia, for centuries, was into invading, occupying and denationalising other countries in 500 or so wars, not very well known. Ukraine, whose history was not so well known, was in Russia's greedy usurpative sights for 350 years, but now, freedom loving Ukraine, devoid of earlier dodgy censorship and dodgy propaganda, is breaking away from Muscovy's devilish ages long rotten clutches and lies. Dad, when alive, God rest his soul, upon seeing Stalin on TV, often noted that......there was a 'son of a bitch!' Russia is to be removed from Ukraine, the correct way to go!

Denys, you can't take what Trump says as simply literal statements. That's not how he communicates. He's referring to Biden's track record as VP. When Biden was VP, Russia invaded first Georgia (George W Bush was leaving at the end of 2008) and then Ukraine in 2014 after Hillary pressed a fake "reset" button. Trump is not speaking literally. He means Putin didn't take Biden seriously because of his track record while VP.
