Excellent KD! Thank you. The metronome sounded a bit duck like though, which I found hilarious! Happy New Year to you & yours & all at Anarchy In The Ukulele! xx

Just received my Roadie 3 - and it's the best thing since sliced bread. I didn't even have to plug in my electric guitars and it tuned them perfectly in RECORD time.

Poor old Paul! He gets such stick on this channel 😁 I can see this being a helpful device for people with certain disabilities or restricted movement, but in general it's a bit much for the average home player and I don't suppose that's the target market. Presumably it wouldn't work with friction pegs, but have you tried it with Gotoh UPTs?
@paul_mitchener_ukulele Жыл бұрын
Yes - I was also pondering friction pegs.

Paul deserves all the stick he gets!! It definitely would be a non-starter with friction led as it won’t push the peg as it turns.

Good review; DANKE I was curious, have i seen this gadget before. The price but even more the probability for this product to not even live up to a decade at least, shies me away! Like, far away!
@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV Жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you. The price is too high I think unless it’s for a purpose such as I use it. For giving to musicians in recording session that are struggling to tune properly. It should happen but I’ve definitely had plenty of those sessions!

It’s a lot of money, but I think I’m going to get one.

It is very good - although needs to be used in a quiet environment, otherwise it'll pick up noise from somewhere else and spin at 1,000mph putting you completely out of tune (and out of a string if you're not careful!)

great review. The Jowoom can change strings automatically actually - I just prefer to do it manually but it does have that functionality.

great vid thanks, how strong is it, some of my keys can be hard to turn
@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV9 ай бұрын
That's not something we were able to test, but I'd say if you can turn it by hand, this should be able to do it too!

My one issue that I can find zero info on, which you may not be able to answer since this is a Uke, can this be used on a guitar that has locking tuning machines?
@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV Жыл бұрын
I would presume not unfortunately

Interesting... I think I'd be too worried I'd break a string :)
@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV Жыл бұрын
Lots of people do worry about that but I can say I’ve been using one for 3-4 years and have never broken a string.
