Thanks Tank!! Karan here, glad you liked the song! To answer some of your questions: - we recorded and produced the album ourselves :) - I use the Shuriken for live shows so that we dont have to carry multiple guitars on tour. In the studio I primarily use the Ormsby Hype GTR 8. The Cathode is the best looking so it goes in all the videos ;D - Roshan, the bass player, is missing in the video. He was on a vacation within a vacation so he couldn't make it but he'll be there in the upcoming videos

haha your reaction was so genuine PS: for anyone wanting to know what the words are in the beginning, he is basically saying "here is the blood of a muslim and here is the blood of a hindu, tell me what is the difference? if the creator made us all the same, who are you to divide us"? Basically in India politicians try to get votes by dividing religious groups, they go to the hindus and shoot at the muslims and go to the muslims and shoot at the hindus in the hopes a war within communities bring in votes and eventually money. In general though politicians divide people like this

"State turning to Faith, Faith turn into Hate, Hate turn into Votes, Votes turn into Notes" This right here is the biggest suckerpunch I've heard in years. That line alone will stay with me for years.

Just in case someone gets the notes line confused with musical notes, the next line "blacker kind of black money" is what "votes turn into notes" meant. The notes refers to the corrupt "black money" that elected politicians partake in.

Oh nice, i thought it meant "you traitor" (imperative)
@ashleycook6025 Жыл бұрын
So would that be "Traitor!" As in not identifying someone or pointing them out to others like"I've found" or "there's one right there/here" (like yelling "fire" when you've noticed fire) or calling out to someone being identified as or identified by a name or label, but an accusatory tone?
@ashleycook6025 Жыл бұрын
@@Pokerfuel I thought imperative was for "commands". Or implying someone is supposed to do something. An example would be someone offering a chair by saying "Please, Sit" or telling you to have a seat by just saying "Sit" so it normally just applies to verbs with the subject being "you" even if it's not in the sentence. With the object being implied based on what the subject "you" is supposed to do the action to.

What a great band. Many of their songs sink into the soul, both in words and in music, I cried for so long because of their song Yaad.
