It's a line lock switch. It holds the front bakes on, but not the rear brakes, so the driver can do easier burnouts.

Mike set out to build a car for Drag-Week, and a tribute to "Two-Lane Blacktop". He's created one of the most legendary and recognizable race-cars ever and been a big part of the hotrodding renaissance. It's been a blast and inspiration watching him build Blasphemi on Roadkill. He's gotten me to finally realize my dream and purchase a hot-rod project, and maybe someday, I'll even get to make some passes. Hats off to you Mike Finnegan, and John Chase, and all you other knuckleheads out there.

Blasphemi is a very cool car with lots of one off engineering. it has seen a lot of reiteration$$$. remember the original sexy injector system? running the air filters for it took about 200 HP...running without the filters ate the engine....

I love Mike's 55, it checks off many of the right boxes for my idea of restomod, period looks and modern accoutrements. IMO Roadkill episodes 13/14 (Alaska redux) is one of the best car guy road trip pieces. Ever. Regardless of who wins it will be pretty badass seeing those two Gasser's lined up beside each other.
