We can know 'the season'. Interesting fact, in Genesis 1:14 the Hebrew word for 'season' is moedim, or appointed day, sometimes translated as Feast.

Interesting yes to understanding our times and the season. But just some further insights.. To me, a season is a period of time. The Day of the Lord is a day of doom; for His judgements and wrath as He makes the return as Lord and Judge of all things and peoples. That coming day should not catch believers by surprise as there are signs of it exactly as the Lord had told His jewish disciples back in the gospels. The rapture / day and hour of a 'harpazo' rescue on the other hand, is for His chosen people (not a whole nation state in the natural, but God's godly nation a set apart people unto Him.. all 1 "Israel" under Him in Christ Jesus, the 1 and only true messiah for our salvation). This is the 'keeping from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole earth'; prior to the tribulations set for the time of the end.. for the generation alive and remaining who walk worthy to that upward calling.

When I read Song of Solomon Chapter 2:10-13 it describes beautifully when the bridegroom comes for His bride. it says: My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away! ~ Song of Solomon 2:10-13 ~ It describes spring. I have always thought this is where the mention to "be ready in season and out of season" came from... It says rise up at the beginning (the dead in Christ) and at the end (we who are alive and remain). Anyway it is a beautiful scripture and I am so ready whenever He comes! God Bless you guys : )

thumb up from me, I first learned of the Jewish feasts as prophecy back in the good old days from Zola. I ordered his little booklet and still have it. I teach it to my students even today all these years later. Our Lord Jesus tells us in Mark chapter 13 when the Tribulation begins. We trust He will take His Church out sometime before that.

Thank you. I have been waiting my whole life but I am so excited to see the time approaching. Luke 21 says when the fig tree comes back to life this generation will not pass until all things are accomplished. The fig tree came back to life May 14, 1948. A generation is defined as a time people live together at the same time. So if a baby was born on May 14th it would be the youngest of that generation. Psalm 90:10 says the days of our lives are 70 years if by strength 80. We are at year 76 with the 7 year tribulation still to come. That would put this generation at 83 years. We don't know the day or the hour be we know it is imminent. Especially on the eve of the Ezekiel 38 war. God bless you guys!

I think it's safer for the people of God to prepare for the resurrection and the 2nd coming of Christ rather than a rapture that HE never promised. Prepare for the resurrection and the 2nd coming of Christ to set up the kingdom of God on earth.

He DID promise. John 14:3 is not talking about His second coming when "every eye shall see Him." The resurrection IS the rapture; "When the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain [on the earth] will simultaneously be caught up (raptured) together with them [the resurrected ones] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord!" 1 Thessalonians 4:17

The professing Christians who don't go in the rapture is because they were trusting in their own good deeds and turning from sin to save them, and maybe partly in Jesus, too. It is 100% by Jesus' works and Shed Blood ALONE that we are saved. For by Grace are ye saved through FAITH (belief + trust); And that not of yourselves: It is the Gift of God, not of (your) works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV. Should we avoid sin and do good once saved, yes- but only for rewards in Heaven, not for salvation nor to keep saved.

Keep it in mind "rapture" has nothing to do with the fallen human race lost access to "Tree of life" even to this point. Ask yourself 99.9999% world population has no access to life giving Spirit of God as a result of Adam's failure to agree with God ruling over him and his family. What would God do in such a situation? Only a remnant God has predestined even before the world began as Paul says in his many epistles are involved only in rapture if they are alive at the time. I tell you most of them are in their graves. Jesus told John to mention them as His bride and first harvest and only limited to 144000 men except 24 Elders. Something else that is really interesting about the new moon and 2 witnesses connection with revelation 6. When the new moon/feasts were confirmed speedy messengers on horses rode out to announce the arrival of the event. The 4 horsemen ride out over the v WHOLE EARTH bringing prophetic message. I now understand that resurrection (eg in 1 Thess 4) before our harpazo catching away of the Bride/Body of Christ, to refer Not literally to graves cracking open with some soulless/spiritlesd bodies travelling up first.. But rather, to the fact those who passed on to the other side preceding us are actually like spirits that are just asleep rested in the bosom of the Lord.. These are those He will raise into a Glorified (new) Body then, just before we join them in like manner experiencing that transformation at a twinkling of the eye instance (ie instantly, just like that, when He sends His working angeld to snatch us out of here). Or.. it strengthens the case of a Mid trib rapture as Some Pre trib period shakings (even from the labour birth pains before the return of the Lord, if He permits it) will have killed some of His own too but who shall experience this resurrection.

Any Jew who hears the reference, "the last trumpet" understands that it refers specifically to Yom Teruah. There are many times the ceremonial shofars blast during that feast, and it concludes with "the last trumpet." This has nothing to do with the 2nd Coming.

@@OurJewishRootsPaul clarified the truth with this warning, “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [when Jesus comes to gather us-verse 1] will not come unless the falling away comes first, and that man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.” Verse 3 is clear. Paul wrote that before Jesus Christ comes to “gather” His people to Himself, “the falling away” and the rise of “the son of perdition” (the antichrist) must come first. Thus to those early Thessalonian believers, Paul’s message was that “the day of Christ” was not just around the corner. Something big must happen first. And to us who live in the 21st century, Paul’s message is equally clear; Before Jesus Christ comes to “gather” us, “the falling away comes first” and the antichrist must be revealed. Paul directly, specifically, and earnestly warned the Church not to be deceived about this very thing! Evidently he knew satan would work hard to dupe the saints in this exact area. When we put these pieces together, it becomes clear that before “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him” (verse 1), “the falling away comes first” and the antichrist must be revealed. Therefore, contrary to current popular opinion, it’s antichrist first, and then the Church is “caught up,” not the other way around.

( in this verse we can clearly see what our king meant when he said that one will be taken and the other left. He was talking about the wicked being removed ! ) Enoch 1:1... The words of the blessing of Enoch wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous who will be living in the day of tribulation when all of the wicked and godless are to be removed the rapture is for the wicked...

We see a clear reference back to the resurrection. Since the "dead in Christ" rise first there has to be a resurrection of the dead before we are raptured. 1Co 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 1Co 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 1Co 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 1Co 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 1Co 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 1Co 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 1Co 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. And again here in 1Co 15 there are very clear references to a resurrection as part of our rapture. 1Th4 tells us the resurrection happens first before we are raptured. So really it is quite simple from that point on. All we have to do is find the resurrection in scripture and see if we can deduce the timing from the resurrection verses. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Here is what is referred to as the "first" resurrection and this group reigns with Christ as priests during the 1,000 year millennium. Since I see people who refused the mark of the beast included in the "first" resurrection I can say the timing has to be at some point after the MOB has started. Unless you can find me another resurrection to look at I have to conclude that the dead in Christ rise after the antichrist has required the mark of the beast. Peace, PTT

I understood the rapture reference 1 Cor 15:52 "in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet." to refer to the 7th trumpet in Rev 11:15. And this of course just prior to the 7 bowls of wrath.

All observant Jews should recognize that term "Last Trumpet" because its synonymous with the Feast of Trumpets. Shofars are blown throughout the 2 days of festivities of Yom Teruah, but the last trumpet is the conclusion, the most important moment.

Explain the verse you quoted 1 thess. 4 , that dead in Christ rise 1st ..... compared to Rev 20 vs 4 that says this is the first resurrection and it includes those martyred during tribulation who did not take the mark.

I understand the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming. What I don't understand is the Virgins who had the oil to keep the lamps burning. If they had the Holy Spirit, why aren't they part of the Bride?

Shalom guys. Good show. Yes there will be a harpazo/ rapture for the bride of Christ.. yay. Are we not all supported by the roots of the apostles' teachings i.e. of the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ? Without Christ, there is no life and no saved body of 'Israel' as God called Abraham, Isaac, Jacob to be established a holy i.e. set apart to Himself chosen people. (Where the 1 true God is concerned, it is always this version of Israel that the bible prophesies speak to). With that in mind I have 2 comments; Since we are told the sun will go dark, the moon and stars not give its light, Before the great and fiery return of the Lord.. I feel this day is not dependent on jewish festival shofar blowings. Hope that's fine with you all. Also, 2nd Thess 2 .. understood thoroughly.. is not a deceptive view by any means actually. It says what it says and means what it says. So just an fyi back to you/others. The opening verse tells us clearly the chapter concerns the 'gathering together unto Him' (ie the rapture, no?) And followed by His return with us heading into His millenial kingdom. In verse 3, a falling away / rebellion departure is mentioned and it is That which is Not a reference to the harpazo rapture. In the rest that follows vv 6-8 (in some bible translations, there isnt even mention or emphasis on the restrainer.. as it's all gonna happen subject to God's timing).. the mention of a 'restrainer' does not literally suggest or confirm that it is the church or any one holy spirit christian or saved jew that will be able to restrain the coming of that beast /man of sin who goes to perdition. I believe the great tribulation time of Jacob's trouble will break out when this wicked one sets himself up, and as it is written, only Jesus's bright coming will destroy and bring him low; as satan gets cast down and bound up later on. This is the pre-millenialist's position. The devil is currently still roaming about looking for whom he may devour. We do well to shun him and his mark (the mark of the beast) when it arrives; for those still here on earth then. I believe both OT and NT books of the bible speak of some higher unseen good vs evil Angelic realm battles and so I gather that is what the "restraining" is about. Hope that isnt confusing and just lends some supporting info to this channel as we all lean into the Lord. Cross Ref with Daniel 12:1 for the time of the end for the nation of Israel. God bless.

Based on Heb. 13:20, the New Covenant is "everlasting". Why would anyone think God is going back to the now "obsolete" Old Covenant during a future time period? See Heb. 8:6-13, and Heb. 12:18-24. We are not come to Mount Sinai in Heb. 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Sion and the blood of Jesus in Heb. 12:22-24. This passage was written in the present tense during the first century.

Hello Bearded brothers! I have heard so much about the "rapture" (Greek, Harpazo) and once embraced a "pre-tribulation" theology. If possible, would you help me to reconcile who is the bride of Christ and if the "marriage supper of the Lamb" takes place immediately after the "rapture" in Heaven, will those born again "during" the great tribulation (the time of Jacobs trouble) miss out on the marriage supper or will there be another supper after Christ returns to Earth to sit on the throne of DVD and establish his eternal Kingdom from Jerusalem? Revelation 20: 4 & 5.

Can you provide me any Scripture that actually says that God has provided a way of escape? I can provide many verses and passages that say the exact opposite. We must remember that persecution is NOT a punishment from God. Persecution is a tool that God uses to sharpen the saints. Jesus was persecuted. All the disciples were persecuted. Jesus said that if we follow Him then we must go through the same things as him for the student isn't above the master and ẃe would also be hated by the world for following Jesus. What makes any of us think that we are better then the early disciples or even our own savior? I have studied a lot about the persecuted church and their faith is stronger than the free church. That is just the truth. Not once did God ever promise an escape, however, He did promise that He would be with us in the midst of tribulation. Also, He commanded us to endure until the end and those who did would be saved.
