Suzuki's New Middleweight Naked Sport Bike | 2023 Suzuki GSX-8S [Road Test]

Having already struck a first-inning home run with the V-Strom 800DE earlier in the year, I was eagerly anticipating the street version of Suzuki’s new parallel-twin that powers both the Strom and the GSX-8S. Swinging a leg over the 8S, it was immediately apparent the motorcycle wasn’t going to disappoint.

That Suzuki is up against tough competition. Replacing the beloved SV series will be the the toughest. I hope Suzuki sells thousands.

I caught a KZbin video from T-Rex-Racing showing some of their products including a much larger windscreen. Two blissful weeks of GSX 8S ownership so far.

Great review, I have white one same as you tested and have put just over 2500 miles on it so far, once first service was done at 600 miles I was able to rev it more and the torque is really addictive, unlike a big 4 where you get a big band of power high in the rev range, this bike delivers smooth predictable power and gives me more confidence especially in the wet. Just needs cruise control and it would be perfect in my opinion.
