I never knew this song is dedicated for Dimebag
@SilverFang27892 жыл бұрын
@@shadowgojiro It was written by Robert Flynn as a retaliation to an article by William Grim for the website Iconoclast. Titled "Aesthetics of Hate: R.I.P. Dimebag Abbott, & Good Riddance", Grim wrote the article stating Darrell was "part of a generation that has confused sputum with art and involuntary reflex actions with emotion", "an ignorant, barbaric, untalented possessor of a guitar" who looks "more simian than human". After reading the article, Flynn was furious and wrote "Aesthetics of Hate" as a condemnation of Grim's article and Dimebag detractors. He wrote a message on the band's forum expressing his friendship with Darrell and spoke about Grim: "What would YOU know about love or values? What would YOU know about giving to the world? All that you know is teaching prejudice, and your heart is as black as the 'ignorant, filthy, and hideously ugly, heavy metal fans' you try and paint in your twisted, fictitious ramblings. It's because of people like YOU, that there are Nathan Gales in this world, NOT the Dimebags and metal musicians who work to unite people through music."

I remember when this came out. Was only in the 6th grade. My uncle loved Machine Fuckin' Head. Sadly, he passed before this album was released. To this day I wish he could just jam it in his blazer. R.I.P. Pernell Spencer! On the other hand, I wish I knew about Forbidden Evil before I knew MH. Only reason I say that is because Robb used the guitar lick(from Forbidden Evil) on this. Septembar 19th, 2007. The Black Tyranny Tour came to Hooligans. We came from the East to see Arch Enemy but they would not play because the bar was too smokey! You came on stage and rocked the f****** house! The mosh was insane! I was the cocky 17-year-old,125 lb Downeaster that just about got kicked out for throwing the Arch Enemy shirt that I had bought, back at Arch Enemy as they left stage! I was drinking Wild Turkey 101 and had an absolute blast! The first song you played, I don't remember the name but, I've looked for it, time and time again to no avail. All I know is that in it you said something to the effect of "aaaaaaaahhhh F***!" We proceeded to Mosh the whole Bar! 😅🤣❤️🤘🤘
