My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Myles, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life.

My little brother was in and out of prison his entire adult life and this is the song he dedicated to me. For all the times I went to visit him. So faithfully so optimistic when he finally got out. 2017-2022. He overdosed on fentanyl in February 2023. He wasn’t out one year. Such a beautiful soul. This song means so much 💔

I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed Oh God, it feels like forever But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head 'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head How do you feel? That is the question But I forget, you don't expect an easy answer When something like a soul becomes initialized And folded up like paper dolls and little notes You can't expect a bit of hope And while you're outside looking in Describing what you see Remember what you're staring at is me 'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head How much is real? So much to question An epidemic of the mannequins Contaminating everything When thought came from the heart It never did right from the start Just listen to the noises (No more sad voices) Before you tell yourself It's just a different scene Remember it's just different from what you've seen I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed And all I know is that it feels like forever When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head 'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head And it's the stars The stars that shine for you And it's the stars The stars that lie to you And it's the stars The stars that shine for you And it's the stars The stars that lie to you I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed Oh God, it feels like forever But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head 'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass Don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home Sitting all alone inside your head And it's the stars The stars that shine for you And it's the stars The stars that lie to you And it's the stars The stars that shine for you And it's the stars The stars that lie to you Who are the stars Who are the stars they lie

This song, especially that opening line, really struck a chord with me in 2005-2007. I've dealt with depression throughout my life, but that period of time was easily the worst of my entire life, and for the first time I experienced what people talk about; that feeling that someone has somehow managed to perfectly encapsulate your feelings and the words you want to say, in the form of a song.

@@wesleys4507 He exists, and He's not a monster. Those children are already saved, their eternal life waiting for them in heaven and then in the New Earth afterwards. Here on Earth, their sickness is used to glorify the kind doctors and nurses to showcase the best of humanity. Father doesn't cause cancer - that is the consequence of living in world tainted by sin, by our very own decision to live separate from Him- but he doesn't disallow suffering for this very reason. Every good deed for the disadvantaged is another proof (to us and to Satan) that we're worth saving. I pray you'll see the beauty of the Gospels and accept Jesus, as well. This life is only just a speck of the eternity that awaits us with Him, as new beings, washed of sin. There won't be any sicknesses, any boredom, any grief. Every tears shed on Earth, God Himself shall wipe from your eyes.

@@affable8696 I'd like to know the page number of all your arguments. Satan is a creation of God himself, its clear Satan has more power than God. He caused it. God has the power to get rid of him. But then again is just a fairy tail. Those children had no choice, no free will you can say and died horribly. So those millions of deaths he caused during the so called flood don't count. Even though we have evidence it never occurred. Since Jesus died for our sins...his death is for nothing.

Must have heard this in the 90's when I was a kid. My family and their friends would get together and go camping and party along the river, drinking around the campfire and what not. Their friends kids would be there too, my friends at the time.. we were probably like 7 or so. This was one of the songs I remember playing on the radio. Don't remember hearing it since then.. forgot all about it. Now, about 25yrs later, I woke up in the middle of the night and RANDOMLY heard this song playing in my head VERY CLEARLY, EXACT WORD FOR WORD, which brought back all those memories and feelings 25yrs ago. So I typed the lyrics into KZbin and whaddya know? This song pops up. The fact music can do this to someone brought me a lot of joy. Hope it hits others in the feels like it did me. Enjoy... "Oh God, it feels like forever..."

Quick story. I was locked away for 13 months. I first heard this song in '06 when I couldn't show any emotion while thinking about my son in front of 10 inmates ... Emotions were uncontrollable and I broke down when I isolated myself ...
