I would recommend to look into Gojira, recommending first as Gojira - Shooting Star (BBC Radio1 Rock Show). The drummer (Mario) is very professional, as all band members. The album Magma is simply great. First albums are more experimental and extreme. Would advise to start from Magma upwards and then downwards.

There is something with that clean, but cloudy chorus. I mean, in the best way possible. It doesn't have typical catchy feeling, but sounds more...matured, on point and RIGHT. And Daniel is amazing on this album, with his drums.
