The RS4 1966-77 Bronco - Starting with Roadster Shop’s proven laser rails, a complete chassis was engineered utilizing the best components available in the industry. Currie Dana 44 front and Dana 60 Rear differentials are tied into the chassis through triangulated 4 links designed to optimize anti-dive, anti-squat, and suspension articulation. Massive sealed xAxis flex joints allow increased misalignment, longevity, and performance over commonly used spherical and Johnny joints. Fox Racing 2.5 Factory Race Series coilovers tuned with RS specific valving offer the best of both ride quality on road and off-road performance. Cad Optimized front steering geometry eliminates bump steer entirely while laterally controlling the axle.
Massive 5”x2.5” .188 wall frame rails provide significant strength gains over the undersized stock chassis. 3.5” of additional width inside the RS4 chassis allows simple header installation and steering routing making Coyote engine packaging ideal. All popular classic and modern engine and transmission combinations have standard mounting provisions available. All original mounting locations have been engineered into the RS4 Bronco chassis to allow easy bolt on installation with zero cutting to your body. Ride height has been optimized eliminating the need for body lifts. Bolt on rear shock mounts and desirable track widths allow the RS4 to be easily configured for either uncut, original rear wheel openings or popular bolt on flares. Splined front and rear sway bars with 7075 billet arms and Fox Bump stops are optional along with a long list of engineered options to help assist and expedite your Bronco build.

Really sucks losing use of my muscles right at the age when I was planning to order an RS chassis. So many things are much better with legs and arms that work, but working on and driving a car was on top of my list. These videos are a double edge sword to me but if I don’t watch them I might have less of a reason to fight. I got rid of my Divco and 50 Ford Shoebox but I still have my 70 T-Bird for when someone finds a cure. This is a great chassis and project in general. It’s hard to spend a lot more than you could get back on a Bronco these days, unlike my T-Bird.

Vehicles have been adapted to enable people with significant mobility restrictions to drive. Joystick control is just one such technique, but many more exist, even using eye scanners to control vehicles. There may yet be the means to enable you to drive, even if it isn't as you would have preferred, such as having full muscle control. That’s super awesome. But… Do you think you could do like a level 1 and 2 chassis build for K10, 20 and F series and Rangers? I love the balls to wall build ups but most of us folks want to drive and work out old trucks every day. We love the modern power and want or need a new chassis that can work, tow and, haul. Leave springs work great when the geometry is optimized with proper shackle angles and ark. Modern shock placement and technology can really bring classic steel back to greatness. Just saying…

Beautiful craftsmanship and engineering but.....not a whole lot of Bronco (other than the body?) left after all that. I've had my '74 for 35yrs now, looks kinda beat but, it's an offroad beast. 2 things that I'm not too keen, on 6 lug hubs and after all that first rate stuff, no RCVs? Would like to see the finished truck, though. Nice work!
