Like the australian KW´s & Bulldogs. Great to see a Mercedes SK, too ! They were tough and real workhorses. I think this one will be a 440 V8 or a bigger one. Greetings from south Germany

SK is a 2648, 480 V8 and with Fuller gearbox, not the usual EPS or ZF box.

Some old footage here, was with Gulf back when Peter ( Boxhead) was depot manager, they had a great crew in Wyndham, Jim was a true gentleman and Jamie a chip off the old block

hi there.greetings from england, do you still use AEC trucks out there, or are they all gone now?
@colinl90184 жыл бұрын
There are a few in transport museums...........

I'm also from the UK @peter smith, AEC was defunct over 40 years ago. No one is using equipment that old to work on a daily basis. Same with Scammell. Dead by 1988

no such thing as bogie drive trains have bogies, trucks have tandem a huge difference, bogies have one anchor point they may have 2, 3, 4, sets of axles and why do Au truckers never use chains, beats me
