This is quite old now. I don't know what drew me to this channel and I am enjoying it so much. I was interested when I herd about a certain no of prime movers that have to be culled from the fleet every year, or 6 months I am very interested to buy one of them still in reasonable nic for myself, for light use, floating my med size excavator just local in county Victoria. I can picture owning a retired cow truck maybe one of them big Macks or heavy duty Kenworth. I currently have an old Scania prime mover that has a crane fitted behind a day cab. Quite economical to operate but not much of a statement... I am hoping that someone involved in the turn over of heavy transport could get permission to sell me one of those rigs. If it just can't be possible right now that's okay too. I will continue to enjoy supporting the channel

All vehicles powered by Internal Combustion Engines were made obsolete over fifty years ago when emission levels were made by governments. Since then all these engines have been turned into scrap iron jungles trying to use old technology. Ask CAT or V.W.. Because vehicle mfrs. cannot meet these levels they continually change the goal posts to appease them. I could be excused in believing [after what happened to Ralph Nader] politicians are absolutely scared of the vehicle industry. A friend of mine, the late Ted Pritchard of Melbourne designed and built the lowest emission engine in the world. It was a steamer. External combustion, controllable. He took it to America and demonstrated it to Senators from Washington , the motor industry and others, successfully. Was happened? Nothing. The Labor govt. gave him $300K. to build three engines, one on the road, one on a dynamometer and one for spares. Tell me if I'm wrong, this is while they were giving G.M. and Ford $750 and 500K yearly. When the other govt. took over they took $200K. off him. This gave him one engine and no money to test it. Did they take it off the Americans? They are so gutless they would not dare. Put a steamer back to back with a diesel and i can tell you which is going west. So now we are stuck with a stack of chrome burning premium fuel and producing more poisonous gas than ever. I could fill the Mitchell Library on diesels. I had thirty years as a seafarer working on them. Don't try to kid me.I am just hopeful this email is printed and let a few of you wake up. When I was a kid I thought the old N.R. Mack came from heaven. Times change but engine mfrs. are like trams or donkeys going down the same old track.

If your going to use music it should be a very light accompaniment not predominant over the voice. Always check your editing audio spectrum to ensure the music level is well below the voice audio. Music louder than the voice totally spoils what could be a great video.
