Roadtrip - Bale Mountains

Greetings fellow Travel Bugs!
You have now reached the Arctic traveller’s corner of the internet. I am currently based in Ethiopia, so a lot of my content will be from this part of the globe, though I will share my other adventures as well.

This instalment is from the awesome Bale Mountains, about eight hours drive from the capital Addis Ababa. The Bale Mountains is perhaps Simien Mountains lesser known counterpart. While the Simien Mountains offers more spectacular views the animal life in the Bale Mountains has the upper hand.

Is this through a travel agency? If yes, which one? Is it also possible to hike independently in Bale National Park?

Hi Marben, you can contact Chewy if you are interested in a trip to Bale National Park ([phone]). You will need a guide inorder to enter most national parks in Ethiopia. If you are interested in a trip to Geralta you can give Gebre a call ([phone]). They both have a website and e-mail but I find WhatsApp more convenient in Ethiopia.
