Awesome - I think Hans is my favorite pro rider of all time. So great to see him still out having a great time.

Killer road trip! Went through Cortez in '97. Don't think those trails were there then... They look quite nice. Time to add them to the list! Hooray, we're in Ouray!!! Slickrock with Herbold? Awesome! Pretty darn nice collection of places visited. That's doing it right.

Hans, Thanks for sharing your trip. Nice to see your destinations. Some familiar some not. After having ridden Slickrock Trail on my mountain bike a number of times and my motorcycle, now I'm ready to try my Levo eMTB... I don't think my knees want to pedal the steep stuff there anymore. How did you like the RV rental? Would you do it that way again?

I rode the 17-mile dirt loop around Monument Valley and that was wonderful! I wanted to ride Slickrock but not alone and I was traveling by myself - a flatlander from the Midwest. :D Is that ride where the river does a 180-degree turn Gooseberry?

Smart! It's short 10 1/2 miles is deceptive and gets a lot of people in trouble. A 13 year old died within 1/4 mile of the parking lot in the 90's. That said, you could have ventured out on Slickrock a little bit - at least the practice loop, to get an idea of it.

@@dudeonbike800 I did ride the trails at Dead Horse Point. First time in Utah so all was new and very exciting. Also rode on a different day from Dead Horse to Canyonlands and back on the road. Made it to Island in the Sky and then the White Rim Overlook. Super scenery. Was going back but virus halted that for now.
