Roald Dahl was a very good author. I loved his books when I was young - and still do now.

Thanks for uploading Boy: Tales of Childhood (1984) by Roald Dahl. Monty Skew = Monty's Que = Mon Teased Queue = Mont East Cue MONTESQUIEU > Charles-Louis de Secondat, Baron de La Brède et de Montesquieu generally referred to as simply Montesquieu. He is famous for his articulation of the theory of separation of powers, which is implemented in many constitutions throughout the world. He is also known for doing more than any other author to secure the place of the word "despotism" in the political lexicon.

@Demonmixer4 жыл бұрын
@@DaveSCameron He was born in Wales to Norwegian parents. Because his first language was Norwegian and he and his parents spent a lot of time in Norway, I assumed his parents would have had Norwegian as his nationality on his birth cert. Otherwise, he would have been Welsh. I would have thought that his parents having such strong connections to Norway would have had made sure he was given Welsh/Norwegian dual nationality. I can confirm he wasn't Belarusian unless this was some alias when he was employed by MI6 that you're thinking of, but I'd say that's doubtful especially seeing as how Belarus was formed two years after he was born. Couldn't find anything about whether he had dual nationality and he's classified by every source I found as being British and since he was born in Wales, that would make him Welsh, but of Norwegian descent. His birth cert probably says British.

@@Demonmixer Hey and thanks, a special chap to England whatever his extraordinary history. My sister led a class room task to reproduce as close as possible his writing she'd asking all her class to seek out and bring in an item from his rather spartan space, I'm told that the only item that eluded them all was a Toby jug which was his pen and pencil receptacle.
