Jayson Hahn That place is just a few minutes from the busy city center of Cebu City. Its about 25 kilometers up the mountains. Cebu City is about 70% mountain and only 30% flat which is where all the commercial activities are found. In just 10 minutes, barring heavy traffic, you can reach from downtown to the mountain via car or bike.

4:20 a.m. The first roosters begin crowing way down in the valley. Then the ones up the mountain begin to respond. And they go like that for about 20 minutes. But then they all take a little break. And I guess somewhere around 5:00 to 5:30 if they begin in earnest!! For me they are all saying "Maayong Buntag!!'

It's still part of Cebu City but away from the business district and downtown area. Cebu province has a hilly terrain. Very little flat lands where most of the Metro Cebu areas are located. Yes, province life means mountain or rural life that is mostly a farming community. I call it simple living and less worry.
