What is a Team Track? 🤔

A short siding that can be used to store maintenance equipment, drop a car at if needed, or be used for a special delivery for a normally non rail served customer.

A Team Track is a siding that originally was the place that horse team drawn carts or wagons would draw alongside railroad cars for loading/unloading. In time the teams were replaced by trucks, but the name stuck. As TRR alludes, the few remaining team tracks are mostly now used for other purposes.

Confusing to me to see a *new* line being built with so many level crossings

The section in this video is the existing Florida East Coast Railway which is being upgraded to add a second track so all these grade crossings are existing. The completely new section between Cocoa and Orlando has no grade crossings.
