Nearly 20 years ago my best mate had a golf ball sized tumor in his chest. He was 5 years old at the time. Doggy cancer treatment was fairly new but we did it with the hope of getting 1-2 more years with him. He ended up leaving us 10 years later. I still miss him but he had the best run possible. I came for the defender but I stay for Blue.

Sorry to hear about your pup. Thats why I don’t have pets anymore. It hurts to lose them. I love Hatcher Pass. I was stationed in Anchorage in the 80’s. Yep, I’m old. Haha. We used to go party at the mother load. We always drove up to throw the first snowball. We’d also park and ski down. Lots of fun. Good luck with the pup. Be safe.

I've started searching around for a rig like yours but not having any luck. Most of them all have windows on the side. Hopefully I will find what I want and me and the kids will be traveling too. Glad to hear Blue is winning his battle. Get a silk liner for your sleeping bag in that kind of cold, adds another layer of warmth. Also heat escapes the body mainly through the head, hands, and feet, wear a beanie to bed, and gloves if need be. Take care, stay safe.
