Hey everyone! Back on this day last year, I ventured to the outer sunset on my bike to see what I could find running on the Friday route. After a little looking I found this truck, which was driven by the same driver I'd found just a few days beforehand on the 4th of July - that footage was featured in my compilation posted around this time last year. This guy was super cool about filming, and said he showed the video to his son - so I was happy to find him again to get a full length video! First off, this truck sounds amazing - one of the louder trucks I've found out of the Sunset Scavenger yard. You'll notice a weird grinding noise on some dump cycles, which I'm not entirely sure what's causing it - but my guess is a tipper related issue. Either way, I'm a fan of the old style trucks - with the ribbed tailgate and the character print on the side. Plus, the outer sunset area is chock full of classic Norcal Waste Services EVRI Toters from back in the day - many with the blow molded, square lid which I love. Also, I came across a seemingly brand new ACX Bridgeport before filming this - so I decided to include those few clips as well at the end of the video. Overall, this was an entertaining truck to film - and I hope you all enjoy the video! Thanks to the drivers for allowing me to film!
