Hum Saath-Saath Hain is a musical drama Bollywood movie that enjoys a cult status. It is full of things that we loved to see with family (except a few songs). But the time has changed, and when we had a re-run of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, many things were out of the place, while some were too much in place. So, after watching so much roast-worthy content, we couldn't stop ourselves from roasting Hum Saath-Saath Hain. This is part-1 of the movie. Hope you'd enjoy it.

The concept of movie is inspired from ramayan....Three brothers are fighting for each others happiness.. Only suraj sir has ability to make the movie of three hours and without getting bored...every director has his own style of making films...today's generation directors not capable of making such kind of movie which loved by all age group.... 90s kids are grown up watching this... 😑

This was a good 'family' movie, but not a great 'movie'. Because it was filled with casual sexism, misogyny, lack off personal space, and ofcourse stereotypical character frames. It had it's merit as an entertainment movie, but it's not really philosophical or even set in a reality. So it's not a great movie or anything to idolize or admire through generations. Of course newer generations with more progressive and open mindedness will find it odd, there are exceptions to this, but not that many. It's not our fault that we cant relate to this. It's not about family value, or sanskaar, Unless the defenition of family values and sanskaar is misogynistic behavior, casual sexism, daughter not even being a candidate in receiving the family property , doctors ending up as mere housewives, even the existence of over the top vamp characters, who are unmarried single women, like they have nothing better to do than interfere in others business. So just like everyone can justify liking this movie we can also justify disliking it. And it's good to have a different perspective on a cult classic like this one, so that we don't blindly believe or follow its ideals.

Exactly...even Sonali and karishma have worn only chudidars or sarees in the entire movie, no pants or skirts. Her husband is more open to express his love and they are comfortable and friendly. And the relationship between the son in law and neelam's parents is really good. But you never get to see how vivek talking to his father in law. As vinod's and prem's father in laws are well known from childhood, it is obvious that they are free with them. Why there are no mothers for any of these daughter in laws? All the three are single child.
