Hi again, guys! This song is about (i feel) a middle-aged couple, maybe 40-50, breaking up... The guy (the King) gets together with a much younger girl ("you new girl"). His ex-partner (who sings to him) lets him see what the new girl is doing with him, what she wants. The guy just tries to please her, but he can't always... (the King has lost his crown). The voice addresses him as 'my friend', though it is actually making fun of him... LOVE ❤ FRIDA'S 😍 VOICE See you soon Marissa & Tyler... Amazing reaction again guys - your faces were a picture. Even when your Abba journey ends you still have some great solo Agnetha and Frida stuff, The musical Chess is what Bjorn and Benny wrote post Abba and has many Abba esque moments, Another You Another Me by H & Claire and Story of a Heart by Steps are also great Bjorn and Benny songs that could be Abba

Definitely agree. It's grittier, and has a cool rock vibe to it that stands out against their usual pop style. Plus, I like it when Bjorn gets a chance to be the lead once in awhile. It's adds variety to their music.

A man, who is actually in a relationship met a young girl in the disco and asked her "Voulez-Vous?" She said yes and so he cheated on his girlfriend. The next night this girlfriend took a walk along the river and saw her boyfriend with this young girl and also the look he gave her and it made her shiver. So she met this young girl and warned her with the words "It's a game he likes to play. Look into his angeleyes. One look and you're hypnotized. He'll take your heart and you must pay the price." The young girl was upset and finally turned him down. And then the actually girlfriend of this guy asked him with a bit of sarcasm: "How does it feel? I guess it hurts your pride. Tell me my friend, how many nights you cried?" Now he has neither her nor the other girl. And so the king has lost his crown. Disaster and disgrace...

Ha ha ha ha you 2 are awsome "friends" i am a old guy from sweden and i can read your behavior..And i think i can read it because i have the same friend ship on a girl in the 70s.. all people always say that we are together..and we answered fast as hell.... noooo we are not... ha ha ha ha lol And i have many girlfriends as all normal guys have.... But when i been older by the time... I like Frida's voice in the verses, and the production is great, but the chorus is bland. It's ok, but out of ABBA's 100+ songs, this would rank lower than 60.

I love the verses but always disliked the chorus, feeling it was too high, uninteresting, and kinda went nowhere. Not an ABBA favorite of mine by a long shot unfortunately. Seemed like middle of the road disco with a meandering beat and uninventive melody and missing those trademark magic harmonies.

Agree. I like the verses more than the chorus. The chorus doesn't gelled that well, the saving grace of this song is Frida's sultry voice.. I just love her voice
