I can max out at about 11-15 episodes per day if I have nothing else to do, but my parents have a school schedule for me so I can't watch that many even though we're in quarantine. @@ArcticZombie The plot twists were what made it for me a masterpiece of an anime, specially if you've watched the entire series, and the light novel. There may be plot holes but that's what made the anime make those twists, and 'time' is still yet to be understood at this time of age so there's no clear explanations in real life. The anime followed a certain time theory which is only one of the 11 - 13 theories, following that certain theory though still left them plot holes in the series. 😕

Joseph Earl Caresosa, Edward gets plenty of character development and changes significantly: It's all about Edward Elric choosing humanity over alchemy. Since the beginning, he was arrogant and has always believed that the only way to accomplish any of his goals was through alchemy, but not here. Here he chooses to give up instead and commit to a final sacrifice to regain what truly mattered. He's realized that alchemy is not the most important thing in the world - that in fact, it's the bonds he shares with other people. He doesn't need alchemy to be able to solve and fix things, he can rely on others. This is why Ed won and not Father. It's because he understands Truth. This imho is the climatic scene of the whole show, because when you get down to it, the show is really just about people and the strength of humanity as a whole.

To me a 10 is definitely not a "perfect score". There is no perfect anime, most of my 10's have faults that I'm happy to point out. For me a 10 represents a "masterpiece" and amazing piece of work that showcases fantastic technical skill in animation as well as story telling and direction.

I completely agree. It always confuses me when people say that something is 'perfect'. my criteria for rating an anime a 10 is this: Did it make me read the manga/light novel or investigate the source material/creators in whatever form that may be? yes = 10 no = 9 at the highest i have been an anime fan for going on 10 years now and i only have 3 10s Saiki Kusuo no Psi-Nan Senyuu Kara no Kioku (yes, i am counting the animated MVs as an 'anime', they have story, characters, wonderful fluid artworks, and have successfully gotten me invested in their universe) in all 3 cases i simply could not get enough out of the anime, when it was over i needed MORE, it didn't matter if more was on the way i needed it NOW, and so i dug. i now have SKPN panels on my phone to use as memes, am eagerly awaiting to see my fav Senyuu scenes fully animated, and despairing over the complexity of getting my hands on a Hitotsume-sama key-chain as a Canadian. Edit: forgot Mononoke, i found the artstyle very intriguing and it had me looking into it's source material show. (which i enjoyed as well)
