I watched this video before but now that I have my new M1 and have used Artisan for the first time watching this video again makes everything much more clear. My first couple roasts with a charge of 190 or 180 the roasts were just too fast so I will try an even lower charge new time. Also, using the predictive times for DE and FC are an excellent tip. Thanks a lot.

I believe that we should not play too much with the temperature. Best practice would be to know what is the percentage of the heat needed to create the desire curve instead of changing it often. Changing the heating often will affect the development of the bean. What are your thoughts about your process?

Besides the heater, can we modulate air flow too? beautiful machine btw

Hey. Thanks for your question. The main heating method of this machine is radiation. So we don’t pay much attention to air flow . We call it smoke exhaust. Generally, for this machine, the smoke, fire, drum speed can be controlled.

Hi, can i know the kind of coffee you roasted in the video and the total amount of time of the batch?

That is a good video to show what you can with it. If you played a manual control, can you save as a profile and replicate to another batch? Thank you.

Yes, you can save your roasting curve in manual mode. Then when can use this roasting curve in automatic mode
