Hi Sierra! I rinse the piñons then spread them out on a sheet pan, then add salt while their still a little wet, and put them in the oven to bake. We have the best family time when we go pick them, and we sure enjoy eating them.😋
@SierraJohnson4 жыл бұрын
I agree, it is some nice quality time with family or whoever you are picking with. 😃

I love pinons. We went and gathered them once years ago. So much work, but also fun. I usually buy some from people who sell them in my area, but didn't get out to do that this year. I had never even thought of putting salt or anything on them. I will have to try it in the future. I bake them in the oven like my grandma did but now want to try your method. Thank you for sharing and Buster is soooooo cute.

I Cook My Pinons In the Oven. & After We Pick Clean them Right Away & We Let It Dry By Spreading Them On a Table Store it Until We Want It.. While Cooking The Pinons I Do It in the Oven Put Water & Salt Ina Bowl. While Cooking Them I Usually Pour Little By Little cause I Take them Out to Stir.. In Our Traditional Ways Its Good For Moms Who are Breastfeeding Because it Also More Milk Along w Cedar Tea!
