Very interesting - can I ask, where did you source the beans? They’re huge. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment, happy to share! I got them from koffiebranderijdekoepoort.nl/, the Sweet Maria's of the Netherlands, who sourced them through thissideup.coffee/ from Vietnam I believe

I've heard with robusta you have to roast the beans longer. I'm averaging 10-11 mins to get full city on my Gene Cafe with most Arabica. Have you tried a darker roast with Robusta?

Thanks for your comment, it took me some time to respond as I wanted to try out a darker roast first, which you can now find here kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2qsaqtpgMh2adU I think in general they recommend longer roasting as it is mostly used/recommended for espresso. As I understand roasting now the main factor to influence the roasting time next to what you want to use it for, would be the bean density, and the one's I am roasting in these videos are super light, and therefore you cannot roast them too long as compared to denser beans.

It depends on the coffee. Some I like straight out of roast ;)
