Drawing PoC isn't as hard as one may think. I won't lie to you, I asked myself if I could draw people of color...then I decided after 1 year of digital painting, I'd draw myself. I thought it came out decent so i posted it up on YT. I unfortunately abandoned my channel and rarely digital paint now. I can go back to it but things in life get in the way. I get in my own way as well. Over the years, I've started to see beauty in everything. So, when I run into a problem, I solve it instead of trying to avoid it. Otherwise, I won't ever get to express and capture that beauty elsewhere. I am not here to judge you. When I heard about the situation thought "This person probably lives in a place that is not diversified and they are straight out of High School or something." I knew thsi because I made a crap load of mistakes in my logic. Over time, a normal human will realize they are flawed and everybody in the world is flawed. Perfection doesn't exist nor will it ever in this universe. It's the imperfections that make us all beautiful.

She's still liking and hearting comments, so there's no way that she hasn't read the comments asking her to apologize or at the very least address the racism allegations. Most of the comments asking her to address the situation are top comments, which you would have to scroll past in order to read and heart the comments praising her. Also, she took down the videos that she was called out about, so it's pretty obvious that she knows people are upset. The fact that she isn't coming out and addressing the issue is really problematic, because there's no way she is not aware of people's requests for her to address the situation (like I said, as evidenced by her still hearting comments), which means that she's just actively ignoring it at this point. Honestly, it's really disappointing to me because I actually was a huge fan of kooleen, and finding out about the racist comments she has made is really sad to me.
