Jimmy really had me believing he was incredibly pissed by what was going on. Great acting on his part.
@wasserperson3 жыл бұрын
I suspect by the end, the "cause fuck you dude" was a lot more genuine than the playing along that came before. Like, up until Rob actually took over the podium, Jimmy was treating it like a jaded school teacher letting the class clown jabber. "I'll let you mouth off as long as you stay in your chair, but you came up to my spot and now I'm going to flunk you because I'm the one with the grade book." Edit: on review, I had the sequence reversed. I stand by my overall interpretation but the thing that shifted Jimmy from "hah hah" to "fuck you dude" must have been more subtle.

For those who are not familiar with Rob Briton’s carrier: He attended the panel show WILTY as a contestant in series 2. During that episode he was quite the dominant character. A few months fast forward, the host of the show WILTY was sacked and Rob was hired as the host of the show as of series 3. This episode of BFQ is teasing that incident. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJupdIWhj9KEipY

@sirskinny5 жыл бұрын
i know its all a joke, and its super funny... but its also a really interesting microcosm of how insurrections happen. you have the wronged party whos issue becomes the 'posterboy' or rallying cry (Richard and Greg) the figurehead of the rebellion (Rob) the independent expert that points out flaws in the system (david) then the and the vocal in-sighted (claudia) rob used a small victory of subverting the quiz to rally everyone together until he finally made his coup... which is when rob ended the bit... I know it was in jest but it ticks all the boxes of how these things happen IRL
