Considering how predictable mainstream pop radio has become since I've been an adult, I almost wish a guy like Rob were all over some of the repetitive EDM tracks that have become mainstream hits. In the meantime, I'm trying to inject a little bit of his Jazz stylings into the material for my next solo project which I will be recording this month (July 2023).

With no introduction you can tell he’s a first call all arounder. Laminated top Gibson ES guitars are over achievers.

The guy can play, and it's great to see musicianship isn't dead thirty and under, but - why is it guitar players feel like they have to impress people with demonstrating their jazz vocabulary and speedy licks? Think Bill Frisell or David Gilmour; kill with a few well placed notes, and a melody that draws the listener in. We work on flashy chops when we're young, then later the musical maturity comes in to give us breadth and depth. This is when we stop caring if anyone is impressed.

Did they ever find out who the dead body was that they found at famous labels deli last week? Was he connected to the “CD trader” drug dealer down the street?
