This is one of Rob Hubbard's best works, and everything from the melody to the drums to the chord progressions is just... amazing!

Nobody could do drums like Hubbard. He was lightyears ahead of anyone else.

Elevator music: 'To The Hell' and/or 'To The Heaven'. You prefer to stay in an elevator, regardless. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rob!

The best videogame music. Ever.

The bass and percussion beat is so likable in this song. It could go on just on its own and I could listen to it forever. I'm referring to the last part of the song, near the end.

One of the best oscilloscopes! Watching this, especially ch1+ch2, adds ALOT. Thanks for doing this! :) Feels like Rob is always oscilloscope-friendly.... ;)

Other recordings never got that rough line 2 string correctly. With proper emulation it sounds even better than before.

This sounds so much like The Immortal on NES, I wouldn't be surprised if both of these were composed in the same year or something.

Not sure if the emulators are 100% perfect, from memory a few notes sounded just a little not right. But then again my memory is not what it use to be.

I remember the original song exactly like this.

I think you could be right but maybe it depends on the SID that sounded different depending on the revision. I'm sure that the filtering is correct or at least the same I had on my C64 (but I think Rob in this one used no filtering at all). I have some issues with channel 1 sound, I think I didn't face those twitching of the square wave around 2:20/2:40... on my C64 it sounded very "wawawa" but non twitching.

Bro, please, where can I get that SidWiz2 program???? Thanks
@acrouzet4 жыл бұрын
I no longer use SidWiz2. I now use corrscope, which does a better job at making these oscilloscope views. You can download it on GitHub.

@@acrouzet Jesus christ, so fast, thanks man :D Someone like me, that know nothing about programming, is able to use that program? because I was doing a quick look there and I saw python everywhere.
@acrouzet4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just run the program in the corrscope folder.
