I recently purchased the main set and all expansions and have been having a great time with it. My wife and I are enjoying the first campaign and I welcome how the app mixes in assets from the expansions.

From someone who had a similar immediate knee-jerk for the price tag on that first expansion, I think it’s important to keep in mind what that expansion brings for variety. The app then has ALL of the tiles to select and vary the interactions, as well as wider encounter options. But when it comes to the app, there has been a second campaign for all but the newest which costs around 8 dollars. Two campaigns that are 12+ sessions each, I’d say starts to get a huge level of content when it all adds together. It’s a hurdle to get over, but if you enjoy the game, it really creates this sprawling endless series of opportunities based on how many pieces can be switched in and out.

I think its worth it. Now they need a Big Box Storage Solution for it as I just got the Spreading War expansion and there's no room for it.

Rob, you should do an FFG followup video from that disastrous in flight report. They have one new game on the horizon. One. It's pretty sad. I'd love for you to do a state of FFG video. I seriously wonder if they are going to close up shop soon.

I think if you already like and play the game and wait for the discount on Miniture market it's a a good thing.However I never pay full price for anything except Shadows of Brimstone!

I've never tried a game that needs a app support so bare with here , but what happens in 5-10years time when you pull it out the cupboard to play and the apps not around anymore? Would you still be able to play ?

Can the tiles and cards be mixed in with those from the original game? Also, I wanted to add that I had a software problem yesterday, emailed the company, and heard back within a day. Fast service.

You have to pay $10 bucks or so for the second campaign, but you're basicly getting two campaigns at about 20hours each. The app will take away a lot of the strain. It's not cheap but not that crazy either.

Software again. We've seen so many platforms come and go I just can't get into anything with Software. I do think for the components the price is somewhat decent. Of course going to miniature market is even better. If you figured 2 dollars per figure plus the costs of the tiles and printing on top of that it comes out fairly decent by today's standards. Also there is the shipping from China that has to be covered. So if you get it from miniature market that's actually a real good deal. Considering the amount of wargames coming out at 80 dollars and above these days, mostly with unmounted maps, it's actually quite reasonable.

$2 to $3 per mini alone is a decent price, imo, so $71 or $90 full retail doesn’t seem bad if it expands an experience of a game you really like
