Rob Lowe Reveals the One Thing He Refuses to Do on ‘Code Black’

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh was with Rob Lowe on the set of “Code Black”!
The actor revealed he is starting to do more of his own stunts, and has picked up a little medical knowledge while on the show, but there is one thing he refuses to do… dance!
He joked with Renee, “They would have to pay me a lot of money,” adding, “We’re trying to get viewers to watch… not tune it out.”

Hearing Rob Lowe talk about how he's become a real EMT from doing a show, is oddly parallel with how Dean Sanderson insisted he was a real lawyer after doing a show about being a lawyer. Life imitates art.

this show went downhill after season 1. season 1 was the closest thing to a realistic medical show we've ever gotten. after they cut some of the season 1 cast and added rob lowe they clearly began to take the show in a new and unrealistic direction. after season 1 it became a stereotypical medical drama like all the others. i guess a part of me understands why they needed to do that but i still think of it as a tragedy.

It definitely wasn't as good as season 1 but I stuck with it for the entire remaining cast especially momma & daddy. Long as they're in it I'll watch it. I've seen 1&2 but not 3 yet.

As an emergency room doc and former military doc (US Army) I find that Lowe is an absolute embarrassment to the military and emergency medicine. 1) He’s active duty---one MUST shave each day when not in the field. 2) He COMPLETELY disrespected the military funeral showing up unshaven, messy hair in full Army dress blues! This means nothing to civilians...but to us? He’s awful.
