@@andross2k I'm 32 and even at my age, a lot of people get caught up in routine or trying to chase material achievements just to signify that they're "adults". It's weird. Also, the older you get, the less time you have to throw at leisure, especially if you have kids. I get what he's saying. A lot of people become boring when they get older, but I feel like those people are the ones who never really discovered a passion for something early in life. Their personality was only in youth itself. Rob and Johnny have a genuine passion for something; that's why they seem different at this age.

watching some old videos here! Just wanted to say I appreciate the Kingdom Hearts Destiny Island track you played at the end. Im not sure if you have played it, but given you both seem to love and appreciate music in video games, I would check out Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memories. Its a rhythm game that is super easy to jump in and out of, and even if you haven't followed the whole series the songs are beautiful, and the gameplay is super addicting, also I see it on sale for 20 dollars or less all the time. newgameaaaa I think you will enjoy 8 I recommend getting it on PS4 the switch version is ok and yes it has the the laxia towel skin unlike the PS4 version lol but there’s frame rate drops with it and it costs more. The story characters and music are amazing and combat is smooth.

OMG Johnny tell Kim I am over 300 hours into ACNH I still have a basic island and running around goofing off. Sadly I lost two residents but they were quickly replaced with new friendly ones. Game is so awesome and addictive. My first AC experience was on the DSlite. I think 600 hours I spent on it the first 12 months. Lol.

oh god. i'm still replay Ace Combat 7, yesterday i did the first DLC mission, it was so satisfyingly difficult. a month ago i went back and finished Ace Combat 2 for the hundredth, and got 2/5 Ace Combat 3 endings. this series is so unlike anything else. other than that i went back to Bushido Blade 2, John, maybe you already played it, but if not then you really should play against Rob Man, it's one of those unique fighting games.

Shantae is so great. Loving Seven Sirens way more than 1/2 Genie Hero. 1/2 Genie was way too linear for me. Seven Sirens brought back the metroidvania and it is perfect! Loving it!

Just beat Shantae and holy hell I love this series. I was a little concerned about all these great games coming out so close to each other but my initial run of Shantae was only 7 1/2 hours. So good and not overstaying it's welcome. Can't wait for the next one

One beat em up game that I've been playing a lot lately, that I like quite a bit, but never really hear anyone talk about much, is a game called Fight'N Rage, it first came out on PC in 2017, than got released digitally on all the current consoles in 2019. Fight'N Rage isn't quite Scott Pilgrim, but it's still pretty good in my opinion, and as of the time that I'm writing this comment, it's on sale for $4 on GOG, might be part of their summer sale that just started, though it doesn't have online play, but it does have remote play together support on Steam, if you have fast internet.

Scott Pilgrim should have come out in like 2012-17 when retro collecting was booming. It still kinda is, but it's moved up a few gens to the psx/ps2/ps3 eras...which I don't really consider retro at all, but still nostalgic. Now you have this new era of kids that like dabbling with older games that they never even grew up with, it's kind of cool.

There was a 'Switch' back in the day for my setup - which was the PC Engine LT! Screen or portable, having stuff like Ys I-II, Dracula X and Street Fighter II anywhere or on a TV was bliss! It was even better because I'd use it AS a TV for all my other systems since it had a video input... I could portablize everything with it, and even used it to practice Sonic 3 in my hotel room for the Sega Championships back before they came out with the Nomad. Sounds like you guys are gonna have quite the party, rock on dudes~!
