This reminds me of the area I’ve lived in since I was 12. Right out of high school I started working at a local business and learned that locals take care of each other. To this day I still get calls from friends “Hey J I need a limo for my sons prom and they’re all booked” I’ll make a call and his son has a free limo for prom. Next time I need plumbing done it’s going to free. Next time the limo company needs tech or security help, Im doing it for free. I rarely have to pay at restaurants. It’s nice to trade favors.

Definitely pays to know people! I bought a piece of land in the sticks of NC real close to where Wrong Turn was filmed about a mile away from the store in the movie! Lol. Would not perk for septic for almost a year, wiggled my way through some retired courthouse system workers, bought breakfast for a fella one Saturday morning the next week I was hunting my new land and a Tan Crown Vic pulls up out comes the Head Of Conservation in that county and she dug the holes herself and signed off on it on the hood of my truck next to my rifle!!! That’s Country but it’s a prime example! 6 months later a had a house on that land! Pays To Know People!! Then my ex wife ruined that one! Two that me and Rabbit have in common he I’m sure got to keep his house I didn’t want mine! But now I’m buying another one starting my new life! Thanks Rabbit for another Great Video!!!
