Got on the phone with Kevin, not to complain but to thank him for such a great product! He sent me a new outer mount piece in steel and now I have a hybrid steel outer and aluminum inner bar , works excellent and while on the phone with Kevin he talked me into the Big Bear Performance / Ohlins 39mm cartridge set for my FXDP and she handles like she’s on fuckin rails!

My FXDX is setup almost the exact same. 585 EZ start gear cams, baker 6speed, 95", CV 45MM carb. Thing has so much pull, but so consistent. With that said, I don't really rip on my bike like you guys, so I still have a belt setup. Outside of aesthetics, am I giving away performance by not running a chain? Or is it simply done for looks/reliability from snapping belts while rompin?
