I am ready to see Jesus and am ready to go to him at all costs even when I am down and depressed I still praise Jesus and never look back! You see a lot of "devil horns" (sign of the horns) at rock and metal concerts (although, Britney spears has also done it). It's a hand gesture where you extend your index and little finger while holding down the middle and ring fingers with the thumb. The University of Texas fans use the gesture at sporting events and call it Hook'em Horns. Although early satanic bands may have used the gesture as "devil horns," there are many different meanings and uses for it. But for today, it is generally accepted as a gesture for heavy metal.

klyral Maybe it means hail satan to some, and not to everyone. That's all I'm saying. Personally, I have stopped using the gesture because I don't want to be a stumbling block to others. Regarding Ouija boards, tarot cards, a knife, crystal balls, whatever...they are used for purposes of evil but are not evil in-and-of-themselves. It's like palm reading...a palm reader is tapping into the forces of evil to predict the future, but the palm of my hand isn't evil. The idea of, "don't touch this or that or evil will get on me," or "If I touch a Ouija board a demon will arrive" is human superstition. A Ouija board is a plank of wood, tarot cards just cardboard with ink and a coating on them. But I completely agree that these things are "used" for the purpose of conjuring evil. So do I have these things in my house? No, of course not. Not because "they" are evil, but because I have no use for their purpose. Colossians 2:20-22, Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 1 Corinthians 8:7, 8; But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Yes, I agree with you...there is definitely real evil in this world. Yes, Satan does exist, demons do exist and there is a hell for those that practice magic arts.

That's with the thumb extended. Ronnie James Dio started the "Devil Horns" sign because his Grandmother did it to "ward away the evil eye" and he thought it looked cool. Stop giving the devil things. He owns nothing except what you allow him to have. Try to keep yourself away from sin, but making a metal horns sign doesn't mean anything evil. In fact, usually it just means "Keep on rockin". Which this band does.

Rob Rock with his solo band he sounds like Anthrax with his range as it calls to mind Joey Belladonna on Among The Living and State of Euphoria mixed with Dio in the 1990s. He's got the NWBHM range as it calls to mind Jon Oliva when he was vocalist for Savatage when they did Hall of the Mountain King. He's a bit faster when he did Venom as it was as fast as Metal Church on Ton of Bricks.

Who said I reject normal hard rock? Or are you speaking of Christians in general? There are a lot of people who don't care for rock who aren't Christians, but I think you're mistaken if you're making a general statement about Christians or Christianity because that's clearly not the case. And no, I don't think all normal rock is "devil music."

I grew up listening to Metallica and Alice Cooper. I discovered Iron Maiden and Anthrax when I was 16. When I was 20 I was trying to form a thrash metal band with dark metal and industrial metal influences as I discovered Industrial Metal and Doom Metal when I was in college. I was trying to do TOOL and Danzig vocals as the lyrical themes would been similar to Master of Puppets era Metallica and Danzig's debut album. Hearing Mother for the first time I wanted to challenge organized religion and televangelists calling them "fucking hypocrites." I was going to use melodic vocals for explicit lyrics. I want people to hear me saying "fuck"

METAL-CROSS I'm a huge Manowar fan. When I rock out and use that. I'm not doing it to hail Zeus. I'm doing it so the band sees me thrashing out and I dig there music. I'm not a preacher. But I don't use evil things and don't talk with my hands at all unless I'm operating a crane or fork lift. I listen to all kinds of music even enjoy some music from Black Metal bands. But that's because I like the 🎶 not the message. Normally if I can't understand the singer I don't listen to it. if anyone is reading this turn up Dangerously Close Album. From Bloodgood Artist. If you don't like the message fine. Styper is a very good band. They rock. Keep in mind There are lots of Christians in lots of Bands. It doesn't mean that we are free to judge anyone. Only the Great I Am can do that. Regardless of Religion or Race. We are all brothers and sisters. If your DNA is still pure human. And not twisted in any way
