Rob Roskopp Santa Cruz Face Deck Shape Overview

Glad I was able to snag an old school deck since 2020 has really put a damper on getting a hold of stuff, especially stuff coming from Cali! Hope you enjoy this overview, just wanted to capture the details of this board so you all can use this as a reference if you are looking to get this deck! I can't wait to skate it!

This was my favorite deck back in the day. Along with the Christian Hosoi hammerhead and the lance mountain!

Excelent videos ! I started to skate again after 33 years. I bought a Santa Cruz board 8,25 . Back in the day , my dream was the Vision Pshyco Stick and now you can buy a reissue i think . Could you recomend me the trucks and wheels size for that board? It’s for ramp or bowl use Thank’s !

Glad to hear you are back in the skating game! Personally I do not like anything under 9 inches wide for ramp/park/bowl skating. My opinion is the bigger the better, and prefer around 10 inches wide. It is way more stable. The best trucks in my opinion are the independent stage 11 169 because they are cheap, last a long time, and are wide enough for the bigger decks. I also recommend bigger wheels then the tiny street skating wheels and with quarter inch or half inch riser pads! Thanks for watching!

What's funny is I really wanted a Powell deck, but I could not find any in the stores where I live due to stock being non existent because of covid! But hopefully they start making their way back on shelves. Thanks for watching!

Oh man my Skateshop not even lying has about 5 Caballeros and had the og ripper which I bought, some per welinders, and had the series 12, and I bought the lance mountain, I just go to the Powell peralta website and if a deck says coming soon I call my Skateshop and ask them if they are getting this in so I can pre order it.

gotta be honest here. this allways been my least favorite roskopp shape and graphi. but man that dip looks so good! even i would consider getting this one.

Honestly I avoided this deck in the past (since old school deck selections were way better before covid) but since it was the only old school deck at all in the shop I go to, I snagged it! But I'll admit it has truly grown on me! I appreciate the comment and the view!
