Rob's Grand Banks 36' for sale

We just bought a 1967 GB 36 in July. We are in the process of refurbishing it ourselves. She had been neglected for at least 6 years. So, you can imagine the amount of work ahead of us. I doubt that we will achieve the level of perfection that you have. But, we got some good ideas for some changes that we want to make on ours. Yours is an outstanding boat. I hope the new owners get many years of enjoyment.

I think there is much pride in "doing it yourself" instead of opening your checkbook. Some boat owners are detached from the character of their boat. They just pay someone else to do the work. It just seems different to me.

Cindy Thanks for watching. I guess I was not being politically correct. Oh well. My excuse, my career was in heavy construction. In that field you finished your jobs on time, with a good safety record, and at least bid profit. If you could meet those parameters you were well compensated, If not you had to go work somewhere else. Words didn't mean much, just results. It's a little different now in must places. Too much fluff. I miss that boat and last I heard it moved to Texas . Barry

I hope the yacht sold, if I was in the market for one, I would be sold immediately. This is probably the nicest Grand Banks from 50 years ago. No wonder you won all of those trophies!

I own a 1971 GB 36 #239. I keep the boat in New Orleans. Looking for "Grand Banks" step plates (2" x 22"). I see you occasionally do some bronze castings. Wondering is you might have a pair of step plates, or know if someone else might have some? Thanks in advance for any leads....
