AGH HEARING THIS MAKES ME SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY! I listened to Anchor for the first time back in middle school, and so much of your music from back then inspired me to keep playing as the years went on! Now, I'm in my senior year, and hearing this with the added drums feels like I'm watching the end credits of the last episode of a long TV series. This is a delightful re-imagining of the song that first showed me that clean tapping isn't just something that my piano-playing novice guitar self did badly, but was actually the basis for music that I now hold near and dear to my heart. A lot has changed between now and then, and while I'm unfortunately in a worse position than I was years ago, I've learned a lot, I've grown, and I wouldn't trade my growth to get rid of the pain. This song coming back to me at this moment in my life gives me hope that good things return, we can always make more the world more beautiful, and we can even make some friends along the way.
