Mcvay hired wade philipps as his first DC with tons of experience obviously. And maintained his play calling duties and learned how to become a HC on the job. Hopefully Frazier and grubb can help stabilize things for us the same way. Don’t remember someone building the staff from best candidates instead of bringing friends like Macdonald has. Super fascinating all around.

It's astonishing as to how much Seahawks content creators talk about the 49ers. It's crazy whether it's Hawkblogger, Staton, Hawks Next, Brandon Nelson, etc etc etc. I'd suggest it's at least twice every other podcast for all of those mentioned....likely 20 to 40 minutes a week. And it's all the same biased commentary. I appreciate Puck mentioning the blue and green coloured glasses to level set.

For 2 weeks after the Super Bowl loss I tuned on to every radio station in Seattle wanting Pete Carroll to explain himself and he never did.I never was satisfied with the explanation of darrell bevel. "Lockette needed to be stronger to the ball." Yeah isn't that why he's a fourth string wide receiver jackass? Thank god you are all gone. I now rarely think about it, thankfully but that took years
