So, years ago I saw Rob Thomas, my husband stumbled on this song played tonight and it brought tears to his eyes... this song was performed at the cusp of COVID lockdowns. Well, I remember his songs prior to getting on fire for Jesus Christ. Well I heard it for the first time tonight and heard "MARK." I knew that his wife had an an autoimmune disease years ago when they got married but here he is singing that even she can't help him now that he must make that decision and draw the line in the sand... Well we the remnant know exactly what he was saying that only JESUS could help him even if he did not understand the Holy Spirit was prompting those to consider their wives/husbands, family friends could not help them with not taking the MOB or taking it? His lyrics said maybe we stay here and we could wade it out..... in the lockdowns... Sad song he sings about his wife EVEN YOU CANT HELP ME NOW.. NO JESUS COULD HAVE... but we know he serves his Master Satan and promotes Lg..b T Q ceremonies. .. could have been and took a stand for Jesus but song with lyrics in comment section. THEY are programmed and told you about the MARK OF THE BEAST coming in FY19 did you listen and hear JESUS say no swab and no Mark ever. Your soul and where it would spend eternity with Satan or Jesus.. Satan the was the chief Musician before he fell from Heaven. anytime i think about suicide i listen to this song. i know the lyrics are about fighting with a significant other, but the words, "i dont wanna fight, i dont wanna cry, i dont leave, i dont wanna be here now... youre the one that talks me down, even you cant help me now," it just explains exactly what i feel when i think about dying. i dont wanna be living now, i dont wanna go thru this pain, but i also dont wanna die. and the line that says you are the one that usually talks me down (from committing suicide) but even you cant help me now. idk that just what my brain thinks when i listen to it and it makes me feel less alone. it's funny how the same song can be interpreted to mean so many things to different people. edit: thank you to all those whove replied to me, your comments are super sweet and i appreciate you all and i hope you all are doing well

Rose Angelica Bautista This song and the one after, “Funny” are as if I could have written them. Very much my life. For me, it’s about loving someone, but it starts to just go “sideways”, wanting to stay but needing to go. No more words to say, thought things would get better if I waited. The song “Funny” reminds me of my childhood. Never enough, I was the kid that should have died instead. Drank from age 14 to 19, almost dying from it, all I did was binge drink. Almost everyday. Huh, I should be dead when I think about all those years going downhill. My saving grace was my husband, the love of his parents, then my son. But, everything turned to 💩 and became “Can’t Help Me Now”. Yep, we definitely have these songs living in our hearts (and beyond). If I didn’t have music in my life, I just don’t know where I’d be. (I grew up in 1960s into the early 1980s, and was sooo lucky to be alive during all that great music). Best wishes to you!

Love this song,can totally relate to when had been depressed due to major Depression.Then when excerbated by social anxiety.Through the tunnel into the light.My salvation my creative expression and realising I had all skills to help others in time of need , focused on myself.Thanks dr Richard O Laughlin you're a star.Had acceptance and commitment therapy and found peers in support group for self exceptance.Anyone struggling finds some peers stops the social isolation.

I close my eyes and listen to this song. All I think about is that I’m going to be alone. I can’t find love, I can’t find someone who will love me how I love them. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that not everyone finds love. I believe that maybe I’m one of those people, and will never find love.
