Thomas’ first solo albums, 2005’s platinum-certified #1 album ‘Something To Be’ and 2009’s ‘cradlesong’ generated the hit singles “Lonely No More,” “This is How A Heart Breaks,” “Her Diamonds” and “Someday. ’Something to Be’ became the first album by a male artist from a rock/pop group to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 since the chart had debuted. With ‘cradlesong’, he made history once again as the only male artist with multiple #1 hits at Adult Top 40, with most #1s by a solo male artist in the chart’s history. Thomas released his 3rd solo album ‘The Great Unknown' in 2015.

I have my favorite songs from you of course, the thing is you never write a “bad” song! The words you put down on that paper is moments that are real and that is so dear to us and that’s why those songs should always be a platinum hit. And by the way I am a Die Hard fan, but more of a Rob Thomas fan than anything else. 👍

Been a die hard since Day one. I feel like you helped me get through those rough teen years and the crazy adulthood. I feel as if your music evolves and changes as we grow. Life is funny that way. Loving the new album. love the Tabitha Secret album. The Matchbox albums. You will always and forever be my number 1. If my ordinary life ever becomes some kind of story. You would be my soundtrack. Lifelong fan here. You are my all-time favorite musical artist and have been since I heard Matchbox 20 the first time. Your music has carried me through 1 1/2 or 2 decades give or take a minute, I forget exactly how old I was when I first heard you. It's seen me have children and now grandchildren. It's kept my heart company when I've driven backroads to clear my head. It swings with me when I watch the sunset over a neighboring lake. It's seen me through a marital separation. And now One Less Day is my anthem for my 40s. Pieces, Breathe Out, My My My,3am, Push, Unwell, This is How A Heart Breaks, Now Comes the Night, Cradlesong, Little Wonders, The Man to Hold the Water, Paper Dolls, Problem Girl, Rest Stop, Streetcorner Symphony, Can't Help Me Now, All That I Am... every one a favorite though certainly not all of them. You sing my insides.
