Tajiri was a beast, his kicks were brutal, his selling was on point and his humor was fantastic. One of the best from his era.

They booked Tajiri strong back in the day. He had a competitive match with Taker on TV once.

Agree for the time that it was Tajiri’s booking was good most of the time, even if it was on the comedy side some times you knew he could tear your head off with one kick.

I was more pumped for Tajiri showing up in WWE than I was with DDP or Goldberg. Super exciting and fun, every undercard was made better by having him on it.

I work for a pro wrestling promotion in South Korea called PWS and Tajiri has worked 3 shows for us and has held training sessions for our local talent. He is an absolute pro and loves pro wrestling.
@elizabeth32808 ай бұрын
This reminds me of the Shawn Michael's shoot in the really early 2000s when he said that he thought RVD was really talented but needed o slow down as he did not have o show everything he has every match . It does make sense in that if every opponent no matter how good or bad is a challenging match up where all your stuff is used it would get dull or expected after a while

Tajiri tops my list of favorite Japanese wrestlers and I'm old enough that I did watch Muta and Liger in WCW, just prefer Tajiri. When he switched from trunks to long pants in ECW, it's like a switch went off and he went from a good performer to god tier. He also had a funny personality despite speaking little english.

Had no idea RVD had his own KZbin. Wish I could tell him I was at invasion 2001 and he was so nervous (or something) he missed his cue to point to himself as they said his name. 🔥 💨 It was a great time. Molly holly wore jeans and she had that dump truck 🫠 3rd row back it was a great show.
