While the "other game" present something bigger than diablo 3 + diablo 4 combined, after more than a year this guys are still tweaking skills, fixing bugs and finding the right "balance" for the game, every time i check videos to see if they add something its depressing.

Sounds like you are a victim of Blizzard's pay to win strat to sell expansions. Ever wonder why they didn't fix all those "bugs" they obviously knew about pre-release? Maybe its because they STILL were trying to sell expansions even now by allowing those without the expansion to play spiritborn up until level 25. Wouldn't want the people to play the class without those "bugs" now would we.... Blizzard is a soulless version of what it once was. It is now a victim of its own size which begets more greed. Look at the passion of the PoE2 devs compared to the D4 devs and you will see all that needs to be seen to illustrate the difference between a game that is going to define the future of the genre for over a decade to come and a game that is just soul sucking the last bits out of a dying series living off nostalgia and hope since D2. If Blizzard had ANY respect for the Diablo fans they'd let us play D2 Resurrected with mods on private servers so at least we can play Diablo back when it was good with proper updates since 2024 Blizzard isn't capable.

Ball lightning sorc gains two big multipliers from Static surge and ceaseless conduit legendary paragon nodes that it didn't get before. Also, the damage bonus from devouring blaze&conjuration mastery has been redistributed to Icy touch and inner flames -passives, which now give general damage increase instead of specific damage types, although probably these new passives give noticeably less damage than pre-nerf devouring blaze/conjuration mastery. But hopefully the damage increase from the paragons offset that damage loss, and I find it refreshing that now there is no anymore requirement to go fire bolt enchantment as the burning synergies are gone, and sorcs are free to explore other enchantment options.

Sorcs got huge buffs for pyro and lightning. Its really annoying how rob skips most of the patch for classes other than barb and still manages to spread misinformation. Only frost builds got worse

My luck with RNG in this game has been really bad. We need to be able to choose our tempers. Bricking is for no lifers that can just farm for days and easily replace their items. Bricking has no place in a casual game.

This comment right here is the reason why D4 will never be great. It will always accommodate people like this, that want to "beat the game" by putting in minimal time and effort. D4 is made to give gold medals to all participants, and by doing so accomplishing something in this game will never mean anything. They got so scared of nerfing stuff that they almost stopped doing that entirely, and so bugged builds and exploits are left there to be abused season after season. They made the game so easy that you can make a new character, get it to full power and do anything there is to do in less than 30 hours. That is ridiculous considering this is an arpg. I made my peace with it, D4 will never be a game for me or people like me who actually enjoy a challenge and want to feel some form of accomplishment for the time we choose to invest in our hobby. December 6 cannot come soon enough.

Blizzard is done. They ignored the paying customers this season "haha let it slide folks we'll fix everything later." This season was the opposite of player friendly. Unrewarding late game, scarcity of nearly every important material(just ran out of ironchunks), lack of build variety and terrible player experience due to lack of class balance. They should pray each and everyday that POE has a messy release otherwise they might close shop.

The Earthquake build that Rob is looking forward to will be extremely powerful in the PTR, and dogshit when Season 7 releases. Blizzard needs take the time, while POE2 has its reign to rework all the classes and add more depth to the endgame. Blizzard should take it as a compliment that a game developer like GGG inspired by their Diablo 2 game title were the same ones to open blizzards eyes to what players expect from an ARPG.

They cant do that. You need to understand that the D4 devs most likely wish they could implement half of the ideas they have to improve and fix the game. Why can't they? Because Blizzard Activision is not Blizzard North. Blizzard Activision is all about what the suits want that answer to the investors that just want higher quarterly earnings. What is Blizzards gameplan with D4? Well we know what it is thanks to the hindsight of how they handled D3 and they are doing everything exactly the same up until this point. Step #1 Release Diablo sequel a decade after last game in the series broken and still in beta for full AAA game price. Step #2 Slowly make "improvements" to the game which basically consists of moving it out of beta into what it *should* have been full release while releasing seasons which add very little in terms of content. Step #3 Release an expansion with a new class while still not adding any meaningful content for endgame then go back to Step #2 so it appears that they still are improving the game when in reality they are just moving numbers around. In short Blizzard only cares about $$$.

So basically the spiritborn gets a free razor plate with hubris, and the spikey armor board, plus 360% increase with bastion plus 500%x damage to enemies around you that are poisoned, plus 100% x thorns to poisoned enemies. But barb couldn't even do fucking t120 with the bugged elixir and we had 3.6 MILLION thorns. It shows barb needs more multipliers

I don't think Thorns Spiritborn is even in P120 Their thorns are not increased by HP and what's making Spiritborn bonkers is a Viscous Shield, a mechanic that doesn't affect Thorns, and Aspect of Redirected Force for crit damage which of course doesn't affect thorns Not sure what your complaint is in regard to Thorns

All that sums up as this: Dev team doesn’t care about any of us (the actual players who blast for hundred of hours and spend money each and every season buying the Beta game (again) with a promise of zero innovation..) Blizzard just make the game PTW instead, bank on what’s going on which you turn a blind eye to all the time.. Or innovate so you can survive and stay relevant in the ARPG scene.. Regardless of how golden or not POE2 is or shall become, start REWARDING the players PLAYING the game instead of adding layer upon layers on RNG upon RNG upon RNG.. this has got out of hand at this point. Let us use the loot to improve the loot, stop punishing the farm when Tempering and Master working. Let us have endgame which means possibility to actually improve (PROGRESSION) which translates to Rewards (dopamine) that gives us something in return because of our investment (in our case it’s our time and money). We would then play and keep playing more builds and more classes in every season and not give up cause all of the game modes are essentially actually the same and the farm is 99.99% of the time stupid cause the chance of gaining any progression and or possible improvements for any of us (the players) less than 0.01% .. (why are you letting others bank on the trading.. and the gold selling and the item selling).. for most of us that is not actually progression, that is swiping a credit card, a transaction and the great felling fades fast, do you not see why players are leaving, cause of all this crap which you created by adding layer upon layer of RNG on top of RNG upon RNG.. This RNG upon RNG upon RNG and constant re-skinning is not a Seasonal ARPG, this is at best a mobile game, a pay to win slot machine.. which you already have ‘Diablo Immortal’. PPL, the players are leaving even those of us who has (every season) invested 500h plus… not because POE2 being better, we are tired of you NOT reacting, innovating, listning to our feedback, not rewarding us and at the same time you keep letting real money get translated into gold and items being duped and so on and so on, coman your player base are not bunch of idiots. Nothing you have made is rocket science, it’s a game based on code (if you haven’t outsourced that…?) fix the game and reward the playing player base. BTW, all the bugg fixes and general fixes in the notes… that is not a Seasonal team, all this is a patch that should had come one week after you charged us for the expansion (aka #VesselOfBottlenecks) and failed to deliver. Also, a actual suggestion, you guys (Dev team) should let RNG be the factor that will set the price for your costumers (the player/consumer) for things like seasonal pass and the shop from now on? .. now that wouldn’t fly would it? So why the AF are you charging us Trillions of resources that are scares and not even after spending quadrillion of all of it we still can’t get our money worth? .. oh I know, none of you have actually played a single game in your entire life and most of you player base have lived for 30 years and most of us have played more than 30 different games. You guys lack both vision and perspective so you can’t create anything with actual depth to it. .. what? You want to keep it casual? things can still be casual, no one has to engage with what they don’t need or want to, to but let get real, all and any game mode being the same in terms of how hard it is once ppl swipe the credit-cards and obtain the items they can’t get and the rewards they can’t farm is barley making anything user friendly.. that is only branded as poor game design. One thing that would however make it easier for casual players, currency, let us loot it wherever we want and stop forcing us into corners in which you have applied 100 if not thousand layer of so called RNG. Let one use the currency and get Rawhide if one’s needs that, someone else needs Obducite, someone boss mats and some even gem fragments, someone would like to craft, and so on, so ppl could engage on whatever game mode and blast and feel there is an actual reward at least when they do. As it stands now, this is a endless loop which will end up in no or even worst outcome; the lack of progression, aka lack of end game.. (as long as you guys keep doing the same thing nothing will change..) regardless of whatever you do or try to do or we do with all coming half measure solutions you Devs call Seasonal theme..

If you are unable to speed run 100s without having to be completely decked out, your class sucks. It is one of the reasons why the SB is a lot of fun. The way The Pit is right now, 100s should be able to be run easily with a more than halfway (gear wise) upgraded class. When all your gear is upgraded, 120s should be the norm and then you need to refine and shoot for better gear to push you towards 140 - 150. All the other classes right now lack this and that is another flaw with their game. Seeing how they do things, I am certain they are out of touch with their playerbase and what "fun" should be. P.S. Fix WW damage itself. Stop having gimmicky damage associated with it. This has gotten old.

Having classes be able to push to pit 140+ is just insane and we end up with the exact same issue as pre-expansion, where the open world and any other content outside of high pits is utterly trivial and boring. It's way too disconnected. Having pit be the only mode in the entire game that can offer a challenge is terrible. Your solution just means we need another 4 torment difficulties lol... D3 all over again. But yes, I agree direct-damage WW needs to be a viable option without having to constantly rely on dust devils/earthquakes.

@@VargVikernes1488 Then they can lose players like me. Players that purchase in game cosmetics, grind all aspects of their game even up to paragon 300 and even try HC. I purchased a dozen copies of the original game for friends to play. I have bought one copy of the expansion as I think it is in a horrible state entirely. They can either make it better or continue down the road they are choosing to make this game worse.

Lightning sorcs look to be getting buffed a fair amount. Paragons are improved and for some reason specific element nodes on skill tree are now generic dmg rather than for their element. They have no idea what they’re doing though. It’s like 1 dev is buffing while the next dev is nerfing.

Lightning Sorc did get a few big multipliers in paragon that it didn't have before. But yeah it's not awesome. Maybe Ball Lighthing interactions save it, but would expect massive buffs to everything to compensate the nerfs, but we got none for anything else than Lightning.

To be honest seeing this much change done for the class they have just released is somewhat makes them look clueless. It was the new shiny, pretty much the center of the game and the expansion and still they're making tons of changes to skills, items, well pretty much anything about the class. I understand that it was op for the sales but I really don't think they knew it was going to be this ahead.

I don’t know Blizzard had all the time and money to make the expansion right and to correct the mess in the mid season and they decided to not nerf the nooborn class just to keep the casuals happy hence is time to move on to a true ARPG game where the developers are listening and caring about the community, I’ve been playing d4 since the release but I can’t take any more pointless duriel and pointless pit runs every season enough is enough, let casuals enjoy it..

This video is so depressing. Basically, Rob makes it clear that the best class and build is the one that Blizzard gives the best multipliers to. Makes it sound less like a fantasy game of killing mobs and bosses, and more like a game about creating a business financial spreadsheet to get the biggest possible multiplier.

Poe 2 won't have effortless braindead builds like the spirit borne. They actually balance their game. Op builds require lots of time and knowledge. Stick to d4 if you enjoy that type of gameplay.

@jpb9857 Good question.I played on day 0 and 2 more seasons hoping that Blizz will do better but they can't. The more ppl will see this comment and start realising there is no hope the sooner player count of D4 will go down...and then....maybe then Blizz will wake up. But if Fergusson is saying that Diablo is not a rogue-like game (the whole series is rogue-like starting from D1 basically) there is no hope... It's just sad watching how Diablo is falling.
