I've always liked how RA handles shroud the outside of the barrel. Very well designed railguns!

Hi RA Team, the integrated reel bracket as you guys designed it only allows inserting the reel from the rear - meaning it locks in a way against forces pulling at the reel body. A very nice little detail thinking about forces acting on gear. Second, reels mounted directly on barrels as seen in other spearguns, weaken the barrel. And the screws holding those reels break out damaging the barrel as well. Will never happen when using a VECTA handle. Keep going the videos. Guess this boost customer confidence in your great products even more. >

What’s the rating for the screw in the handle holding the tuna clip?

We did test these long time back and it was more than adequate, thanks for reminding me, we will repeat and film it.

Dear Rob, I found my handle safety easily gets jammed by sands and it can take a whole night soaking in fresh water to resolve it. Any tips to reduce that chance? I’m a safety lover by the way. It’s a lot more safer when you leave your loaded gun aside while fighting with lobsters/ abalones.

Hi, it might not be sand but a sticky safety. Does it jam on or off? We have had the odd safety have issues. If it is sand, you should be able to clear it in the water just by releasing the spear and knocking it about a bit. There is no way to prevent sand getting in as the fine grit will always enter and cause wear, this is why we keep the mechanism as open as possible.

Are you developing or considering making your own low profile (so you can aim down your shaft), reverse mech trigger? If so you would truly have the best spearguns. That's the only bad thing about my gt carbon roller.
