That was not "spicy butter" but what we call in Vienna "Liptauer" which is a paprika spiced spread..a little bit of butter is in it but also - and foremost - curd cheese (= in Austria it is named "Topfen"/in Germany it is named "Quark" = the pure protein of milk which has a total neutral taste so it can be flavoured either savory but also sweet) Liptauer is a spread out of a little bit of butter + the main protagonist which is curd + a little bit sour cream + razor thin and tiny diced onions + razor thin and tiny diced few anvochies and caper + razor thin and tiny diced pickles (instead of razor thin tiny diced those all can be shredded as well then it is a creamy mass of flavours mixed into the spread) + a little bit tarragon mustard and that "base" is then seasoned mainly with paprika powder which also gives the red-ish/dark orange colour and salt + pepper + a tiny bit caraway powder. That is a "default version" because actually every household who does prepare Liptauer handmade at home from scratch has its "own family recipe" by adding also other ingrediants like for instance fine and tiny diced boiled eggs, fine tiny diced bell peppers of very colour, etc.(those aren´t shredded but to see and to bite in the spread) And "Bitte" doesn´t only mean "please" but also means "Here you are" depending on the context. When you ask for something "Bitte" means "please". = "please, take a seat/please, come in/please, may I have this or that." But when you receive something and the person who is handing over something and says "Bitte" or "Bitte schön" that means "Here you are",
