I was part of the original design team for the Apache. I started in December of 1972. My last job in the design group before I moved to program management was lead design engineer whe we made the change from the original T-Tail to the stabilator. We spent a lot of time makng sure that the heicopter could still be controled if the stabilator got locked in the full down position. Lots of great times working on that program

That's my dream heli. One day. Just need to buy the kit then I'll have no choice but to complete it. 😂 ive built a few SAB kits and have been flying a few years I think this kit should be within my ability.

it's really really nice. i have a 500 size AH64 fuselage in storage for years havent got a chance to build it. i would love to get a smaller size RTF RC Apache as it is my all time favourite helicopter, i just want one which is ready to fly now. Awesome build, great work!

small are a lot harder to fly the 500 is a good size. you should get it built. nobody does decent ready to scale helicopters that we would recommend

I am currently building a Roban 800 Huey and would like advice on what navigation light system to use. I would prefer a system that can operate straight from a 2s lipo battery, as that is how I power the entire receiver circuit.

Hello there is one answer to your question. The Briancube Lighting system. will run of a 2s lipo. connects into your receiver so the lights can be controlled. Its an excellent system for larger helicopters

no its not a bigginers model. you need to start with a pod and boom type helicopter.

@@martyanderson3390 if your referring to the flybarless controller set up there are so many different ones that it’s impossible to do generic set up. This is a purely a build video. If you require specific set up information feel free to ask and we will try and help you out.
