We seldom get Talent here....it's to expensive to gig here....So Thanks so much Robben for coming....... First heard this cAT IN santa Cruz in the 1970's.....following his talent since then. Robben had a great sound early on with the Charles Ford Band. He played an L5 with Stan Poplin on bass, Jimmy Baum on drums and often Backing up Jimmy Witherspoon. He was probably the greatest blues guitarist alive. The years were early 1970s. He was an early influence for me as a guitarist but this band doesn’t really touch what he was ‘back in the day’.
