Oh the memories watching this. I remember watching this on BBC One when it first aired in 1999 and my dad recorded it. Had it on VHS Tape along with Wallace and Gromit and other films/cartoons I use to watch during the Xmas period. Got the DVD back in 2007 and since then I watch it every Christmas period.

Amazed that I found this again. The first and last time I saw this was about 20-21 years ago when I was very, very young. It was recorded on VHS by my grandpa, along with Balto and 30 or so minutes of CITV which included an episode of The Magic Roundabout, Percy the Parkkeeper and Lavender Castle. It's been in the back of my mind all this time and I've only now rewatched it.

I was working my closing shift at Peter Piper Pizza (Arizona Chuck E Cheese) and this came in one of our TV's after college football, and some flood of nostalgia came over me, id never seen the full thing but I remember very vivid things in it. My parents recorded this off the telly on a VHS for me when I was a kid, and for some reason that definitely totally wasn't undiagnosed autism, I went through a phase of watching it and rewatching it over and over on a daily basis for months until I knew all the words and could mentally watch it in my mind and the vhs was starting to wear out. None of this looks or sounds familiar to me now decades later. Weird fever dream that I thought was a feature length movie.
