Tackling the front nine of John LeMaster Disc Golf Course at Civitan Park in Trussville, AL we’ll see what it takes to play the same holes with different discs. What does it feel like for an am to play a 393-foot hole with only putters? What does it feel like to putt with a 13-speed driver? I’m sure there will be tons of takeaways, and plenty of messed up shots along the way.
Get ready for some laughs, some learning, and hopefully some birdies?? The restricted disc golf journey is a go! I’d challenge you to do the same thing at one of your local courses to see what lessons you learn!

I have just invested in a few midrange discs. I wasn’t really throwing them at all. But I got one and found out I’m throwing it almost as far as my drivers. I obviously am not throwing my drivers correctly so I am discing down for a while to figure this out. Great video!

Another great video, Robbie. This series is very good, and very useful. It is very useful to play rounds like these. I played a round on my local course this summer using just putters and mids, and I learned a ton. It changed my game and approach on this course. Started the year with +9 as my PB, now it is +3. Keep up the good work, man!

Alfa Apollo is a lovely mid. Can handle fore and backhand shots. Will provide accuracy plus bonus distance

Gotta say man, drivers are probably gonna go not as well. They'll kick further than mids and putters off of trees, they're not great putting putters, and you'll almost be forced to half-power a lot of your upshots which as you said is not a good idea. I believe in you though! make some magic happen Robbie!

Midranges were my weakspot for a long time so I played a lot of mids only rounds and I have really figured out how to get them to do so much. Now I have to finally man up and play some putter only rounds like everyone on the interwebs says to.

And watch this on yet I just started it but I think a good idea would be to use your own putter inside circle 1. Just say it and action

On the approach on hole 5 for that distance between a putt and a throw, I usually go with a sidearm.

I feel like even on mid only rounds you should use putters at least around c2 and in because you would never use a mid there
