Manual Swapping the Abandoned Genesis Coupe!

Here we go! Normally, when we build an Auto car - we do a lot of the build first. But this time, we wanted to get the Manual Swap portion of the build done right out of the gate! Honestly, every time we do a manual swap, it seems a little easier - if you are debating trying one - GO FOR IT! It isn't as scary as it looks! As for Abby (Abandoned Genesis) she is now a happy Manual Swapped Car!

for the bk2 manual transmissions you wanna get the 14+ instead of 2013 because thats when they started using carbon synchros because of grinding issues

I 100% agree with Robbie's challenge, pushing yourself in unknown territory can be terrifying at times and yes, you may make mistakes or fail. BUT! speaking from my own experiences, learning from those mistakes and getting back up will be one of the best things you can do. You learn new things and most importantly, you become more confident because by regularly putting yourself out there and making yourself more vulnerable you're able to build upon your resilience. You essentially become the best version of yourself. And I have noticed, going in with the "FUCK IT!" mentality really helps.

If you change the shifter, to say a coolerworx one, you wouldn't have that arm for the shifter, and it would bolt right to the body, so there wouldn't be any need to cut any part of the trans tunnel. That's in theory, I just did that shifter in my bk1 3.8 and I think that would've helped u save some time/effort haha

As someone who has manual swapped a 2013 2.0 premium trying to keep the factory push button it’s more the body control module that you are going to be fighting. I’m running haltech ecu. I can’t get the push button to work properly so I have a toggle switch for the starter for now.
